Hi

Does anyone has any Contact Management programs for HTC Touch to recommend ? Preferably those that I can manage from the PC Desktop.

My contacts are in a mess when the system copied the SIM contacts in the phone AND after Windows Live downloaded my Hotmail Contacts into the phone. Now I have redundant contact entries

as for ur info...the higher megapixels will only determine how big u can zoom into ur photos. the real thing that determines the quality of pics will be iso sensitivity, shutter speed, exposure etc.so i just wan to check the camera quality. sony ericson's 2mp camera could take nice n clear pics too!

the HTC Prophet is not bad even though it is using 2MP too. i believe the Touch shouldn't be that far off, although it lacks the macro-lense present in the HTC Prophet.

a pic i took recently using my HTC Prophet:

how much is brand new 818 Pro nowadays at shops (for those that still sell it)? basically Touch is same specs as 818 Pro except for the TouchFLO and WM6 and slimmer form factor.

Touch is more on design, people often get attracted by the cube function. Not many people know that they can have TouchFLO and 3D Cube on their 818 pro.

818 pro is cheaper than Touch

Hey guys, i am planning to get a pda, so just a few quick question.

Firstly as i have heard you guys discuss about the audio problem, i am just wondering when people is calling to this htc touch phone, is the ringging loud enough? i mean i always miss call because of the volume , so i would like to have a phone that can ring out loud.

2ndly, i have tried playing with a real htc touch but i just feel like its hard to press the buttons on the touch screen for some reason. Do you guys ( people that own this baby) have any problems with this?

And Lastly about the speed, well personally i dont think i will be a heavy user, just mainly for calling and receiving calls , sms, and organize some simple stuff on words or excel. So i would like to know if there will be any serious trouble doing so due to the 201mhz processor?

I am not too particular about the camera. so no worries about the camera.

Thanks in advance! Cheers!

at only RM2499 for 838 Pro, it is surely the better buy since the original price of 838 Pro was 3.2k IIANM.
3.2k original-RRP vs 2.1k (Touch) original RRP.
definitely the 3.2k wins. tongue.gif

why i say it's better anyway? you'll be bored with the TouchFLO after some time and the design of the 838 Pro is small too, even though not as small as Touch. and everything else, the 838 Pro wins the Touch, of course. biggrin.gif

i didnt know it comes in 2 colors... i bought mine in hk though... anyways comparison wise... the atom is big and bulky. the touch is slim. But the touch has the issue of memory and u must install the new msn messenger. The stupid bug in the retail unit makes u unable 2 see ur contact list who is online.... other then that its all fine. Regarding the the sound quality i think if u get a good pair of headphones its all fine.u Can get either a A2DP bluetooth headphones or some USB headphones.

erm, how do i get the new msn messenger? cuz i have the same problem too. i cant see al the people who are online. thanx
