Hey guys, i am planning to get a pda, so just a few quick question.

Firstly as i have heard you guys discuss about the audio problem, i am just wondering when people is calling to this htc touch phone, is the ringging loud enough? i mean i always miss call because of the volume , so i would like to have a phone that can ring out loud.

2ndly, i have tried playing with a real htc touch but i just feel like its hard to press the buttons on the touch screen for some reason. Do you guys ( people that own this baby) have any problems with this?

And Lastly about the speed, well personally i dont think i will be a heavy user, just mainly for calling and receiving calls , sms, and organize some simple stuff on words or excel. So i would like to know if there will be any serious trouble doing so due to the 201mhz processor?

I am not too particular about the camera. so no worries about the camera.

Thanks in advance! Cheers!

got my touch today...and i must say its pretty cool....
my first PDA, had some hard time playing wif it but after half a day with the phone on my hand...pretty familiar wif it ...still more application that i need to play wif...

got myself a GPS with MAPKING....OK onli...reason is..i still need to learn how to actually use it....kinda useful for a person who doesnt no the road well...but for me...i reached my intended place even b4 they could advise me...but the voice navigation is really cool....

ring tone can be accepted....but i think the alarm is not up to my expectation...it doesnt serve as an alarm...volume too low..cannot set mp3 as alarm..u have to stick to it...if anybody here knows how to do it...please advise.

overall, i give 8/10 to this phone....

Hey congrats upon getting the new and cool HTC touch! haha...
anyway i have the same opinion as you on the alarm, and i personally thing the default alarm was far below my expectation.

But no worries, as i have tried this alarm software that is pretty good i must say.. and its free so feel free to try it out.

It does not allow you to use other songs as your alarm tone, but you can simply copy and paste a wav file into the sounds folder in this software to enable the use of the wav file. So far i havent try other formats yet, but i am sure that a wav file will work.

Have fun with your htc!

hey guys, i was just wondering, did any1 have any problem with the alarm??
I was trying to set the alarm with the repeat sound option on, i tick the box for it already, but even after that, the alarm just ring once and stop.

If i were sleeping i couldnt even hear it if it were to only ring once... any1 here having the same problem????
