the oc-ability of this bios is ok or not? is it possible for u to test it on AOE V12 or not? coz i might wanna flash it. thanks.
*
What's AOE V12? Sorry for noobness blush.gif

I'm using this BIOS, I think it is the latest. I think if you want to OC with TA690G, you will need to flash this BIOS as the default one doesn't have CnQ feature. Thus, you will OC but stuck with CnQ, and the multiplier will most likely around X5 sweat.gif

Nope, no cpu multiplier though. Once disable CnQ, its multiplier will remain at X9.5

Brisbane user, how do check your temp like idle and load, especially in Vista?

And Gigabyte boards for AM2 doesn't provide full features for OCing. Correct me if I'm wrong though. Only experienced it from S2G tongue.gif

Everest didn't detect temp, not even Home Edition or Ultimate sweat.gif I manage to OCed stable at 2811MHz. I can push until 2907Mhz as well, fail in Orthos but still ok in windows. Push further than that, cpu make beeping sound. Currently, push 25% is enough for me. At least until I get a better PSU brows.gif

But if power failure happen during flashing BIOS? I think it is safer to use UPS alongside the BIOS flashing process.

So that 3.2GHz is using ayam brand PSU?? Some more with 1.3v only while others at 1.4v at least. Maybe can only run it for a while, but later if at load, who knows sweat.gif
