Use multiplier 9 first, IMO, do not use too low multiplier as in need a lot of HTT to increase the core speed.

1. Loose your ram timing to find out the maximum overclock speed.
2. From that point, only find the sweet spot for ram timing.

Hope it helps you.

ok i will try using x9...even x9.5 muliplier biggrin.gif but it seems using this biostar mobo...its sort of difficult to understand those ram thingy...it seem that the option available in bios is not much...rite now im using auto setting for ram timing.

your temps seems alright, id assume it would be safe to increase your vcore. Set your vcore @ 1.5 and try again.

I dont think the problem lies with your ram, the settings for your ram now is too easy for it to handle, it shouldnt be the culprit.

1. Lower down your HT Link Multiplier
2. Increase some Vcore by one increment and increase HTT by let say 5MHz each time.
[Use Orthos or others similar programs to test stability]

Be in mind that Windsy is hard to overclock compared to Brisby.
And if you do not mind, list out your hardware details for us.

1.5v would be ok with decent cooling.
My brisby on with 1.525v @ 3.05GHz last time. Now no overclock already due to electric bills sweat.gif

Please download CoreTemp and monitor the temperature.
Windsy is hot especially on stock cooler. smile.gif

Do you add Vdimm for your ram? I assume that yours is KVR. SPD Timing should be at CAS 5.
Lower down your ram divider as well with the HT Link Multiplier
