QUOTE(-pWs- @ Sep 22 2007, 04:19 AM) 1. Lower down your HT Link Multiplier ill try it dude...thanx for the help..2. Increase some Vcore by one increment and increase HTT by let say 5MHz each time. [Use Orthos or others similar programs to test stability] Be in mind that Windsy is hard to overclock compared to Brisby. And if you do not mind, list out your hardware details for us. -pWs- specs as below -590sli s5 -X2 3800 (windy) -7600gt -2X 512 ddr 533 (kingston) -STOCK heatsink |

QUOTE(-pWs- @ Sep 22 2007, 05:04 AM) Please download CoreTemp and monitor the temperature. I have downloaded it,bit it seems that i hv a problems with it,the CoreTemp keeps on creating error, and the CoreTemp will close..Windsy is hot especially on stock cooler. Do you add Vdimm for your ram? I assume that yours is KVR. SPD Timing should be at CAS 5. Lower down your ram divider as well with the HT Link Multiplier -pWs- Is there any other good software to monitor the temperature (accurate)....? Ram divider and HT Link Multiplier is set to default,im just playing with the CPU freq.. example shots taken from a review.. ![]() |

I not really understand. what i mean is,my im using KVR 667mhz at the moment,so its normal chip i think. If you wan both sticks to work together, it is possible IMO. -pWs- Still can clock to 800...? so that it pair it with my other KVR 800mhz.. |

QUOTE(AoiNatsume @ Sep 24 2007, 11:32 PM) Im using Raptoxx 550w, its working pretty well with most voltage readings stable. Whats the different btwn tracer and the 10th Ann dude..?I believe my rig consume quite some power here, 2 HDD, 2X HD2600XT DDR4, 1.52vcore and 2.3v on my crucials. IMO, its wayyy better than CM Extreme Power 450w, ive used the CM 450w before(the model with a voltage meter), it flunctuates alot when on full load where else my cheapo raptox works way better. Added on September 24, 2007, 11:33 pm look for forumers selling Crucual 10th Anniversary rams, its a great bang for buck. RM440 2gb rams that can run 510Mhz with 4-4-4-7-11 @ 2.3 vdimms stable. |

QUOTE(AoiNatsume @ Sep 24 2007, 11:45 PM) well, some says its the same some say its different. Then again, it doesnt really matter to me as it performs damm good. And again, the most important deciding factor, price. Rm440 for 2 sticks of 1GB, on the tracer series... u cant get much with RM440. I can see from ur sig,ur using crucial... Hows the performance compare to other rams..? |
