i thought 2.35v just enough for D9GKX doing 600..
can show the data transfer? if can't achieve 11k better doing ~500 with tight timing..
*
1 question

what's your ram? D9GKX ram chipset also rite?

some ram/cpu dislike overvoltage.. that's for referrence.. since different hardware got different setting..
sometimes bios also being a culprit..
check HT Link Width if any either 16bit or auto.. sometimes auto option not work well..
sometimes cpu need more voltage for different ram settings.. for mem controller maybe..

good luck

oic, i thought you dun understand that concept? Look like you also understand but just purposely crap here. laugh.gif

If i dunno how to set those stuffs, do you think i can reach 1200?

Please answer my question, you also using D9GKX ram rite?

yup.. it's just bare KVR
and i observe D9GMH need more voltage..
D9GKX can do good tight timing..
if possible i'll set for lowest voltage but better performance..

i don't mean that u don't have any idea about it since u can play with the bios..
just my latest bios.. sometimes will reset that HT Link Width into auto eventhough already save 16bit..
just check the options may sometimes we mislooked them..
but ur mobo is different with mine though..

i would like to share this joy with fellow LYN am2 OCers laugh.gif

DDR2 1200MHz achieved with Biostar TF7050-M2!! (a m-atx mobo laugh.gif )

vcore=1.47v (ignore it, it is extra pumped laugh.gif )
vdimm= 2.44v thumbup.gif
Ram = Crucial PC2 6400 2X512MB (D9GKX ram chipset)
Ram frequecy: 1200MHz
Timings = 5-5-5-15-2T

CPU-Z validation: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=229504
Please don't ask me to prime it as it is not stable yet. I'm still figuring how to set those ram sub-timings in BIOS and also memset in windows in order to make it stable laugh.gif

b4 that i was using brisbane, with the same setting i couldn't hit 1200 no matter how hard i tried.

With this 90nm F3 windsor, just some simple tweak already hit 1200 laugh.gif

you are right, brisbane integrated memory controller really crappy

More updates.........Ive managed to get my proc up to 2.9ghz but it wasnt stable for any stressing. Best so far ive got is 2.8ghz @ 1.36v rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif. Btw I noticed that the core voltage drops a lil when i start stress testing. Also whats the highest I can go on voltages without risking an immediate burnout? I'm still using the stock cooler sweat.gif

not only voltage, must keep a lookout for the temps. 1.35v using stock cooler, my load reach 67. So i decide not to go any further. Just got a new hsf today, so hopefully I can breach 3ghz!

mine show Idle 26'c and full load 29'c only. any way fixing this problem?

same goes to my Smart T-fan utilities control only show CPU & System fan reading only, even I have install speedfan 4.32 still no reading on the fan speed. ( btw I got 3x12CM connected to mobo fan header) Stock Lian LI each 1500RPM and Vizo 2000RPM

It looks like more to mobo limitation. Not sure if there's any hidden features or locks though.
