Damn lah my house room temp soo hot. My 2.8GHz Brisbane while at college temp around 43-45C, but when I bring home my rig, idle at 49-51C. Then later around evening 3pm or something, that day soo hot it reached 55-56C! Then crash sweat.gif

Setting default vcore in bios oso? Wah  notworthy.gif  rclxms.gif Any 3GHz screenshot?  icon_rolleyes.gif
Nope, using 1.35v. Will try for 3Ghz after I get a new hsf. Seeing 66 degrees at load, I dare not try further. Default vcore I could get 2.7ghz, but that was before I flashed the bios. Maybe now more stable.

Haha.. Do not compare with Intel. sweat.gif
If you wan to compare, we would not be here already right? icon_rolleyes.gif
The point here is the satisfaction. There is no reason everyone go for Lancer Evo, while those driving Waja will be penalized right? laugh.gif

By disabling EIST and Enhanced Halt, using super-expensive RAM, crazily expensive mobos and the like.

Yeah... worth bragging for I suppose. rolleyes.gif

(BTW I'm gonna try my Brisbane when my 2900 arrives. Hope I have enough stable power ROFL.)

45nm? Not yet out la..unless you happen to be inside Intel or AMD's top secret departments..which if you're caught mentioning anything about your job you will losee your job AND your pants too when they sue you for breaking your work contract sweat.gif Had a friend's relative working there..every time his mom asks him how's work his reply always the same - "Not allowed to talk about it.." whistling.gif

i would like to share this joy with fellow LYN am2 OCers laugh.gif

DDR2 1200MHz achieved with Biostar TF7050-M2!! (a m-atx mobo laugh.gif )

vcore=1.47v (ignore it, it is extra pumped laugh.gif )
vdimm= 2.44v thumbup.gif
Ram = Crucial PC2 6400 2X512MB (D9GKX ram chipset)
Ram frequecy: 1200MHz
Timings = 5-5-5-15-2T

Attached Image

CPU-Z validation: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=229504

Please don't ask me to prime it as it is not stable yet. I'm still figuring how to set those ram sub-timings in BIOS and also memset in windows in order to make it stable laugh.gif

i thought 2.35v just enough for D9GKX doing 600..
can show the data transfer? if can't achieve 11k better doing ~500 with tight timing..
