QUOTE(GHz1 @ Aug 12 2007, 11:35 PM) Setting default vcore in bios oso? Wah Nope, using 1.35v. Will try for 3Ghz after I get a new hsf. Seeing 66 degrees at load, I dare not try further. Default vcore I could get 2.7ghz, but that was before I flashed the bios. Maybe now more stable. |

QUOTE(casperito @ Aug 13 2007, 09:26 PM) Haha.. Do not compare with Intel. If you wan to compare, we would not be here already right? The point here is the satisfaction. There is no reason everyone go for Lancer Evo, while those driving Waja will be penalized right? -pWs- This post has been edited by -pWs-: Aug 13 2007, 09:33 PM |

QUOTE(casperito @ Aug 13 2007, 09:26 PM) By disabling EIST and Enhanced Halt, using super-expensive RAM, crazily expensive mobos and the like.Yeah... worth bragging for I suppose. (BTW I'm gonna try my Brisbane when my 2900 arrives. Hope I have enough stable power ROFL.) |

i would like to share this joy with fellow LYN am2 OCers
DDR2 1200MHz achieved with Biostar TF7050-M2!! (a m-atx mobo vcore=1.47v (ignore it, it is extra pumped vdimm= 2.44v Ram = Crucial PC2 6400 2X512MB (D9GKX ram chipset) Ram frequecy: 1200MHz Timings = 5-5-5-15-2T CPU-Z validation: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=229504 Please don't ask me to prime it as it is not stable yet. I'm still figuring how to set those ram sub-timings in BIOS and also memset in windows in order to make it stable This post has been edited by dblooi: Aug 15 2007, 12:44 PM |
