looks like gila ramai yang kena ni just last night.

i signed up via website too. yesterday i was signed out of mydigiapp on my phone, don't know why.
i know that sometimes apps suddenly sign you out but im getting a bit paranoid here.

Alerted my Digi contacts and they said the fraud team is already working on it. Hopefully this can be solved soon.

Unfortunately, no fibre at my place and I don't see TM will be laying cables anytime soon. Just hope 5G will arrive soon. In the meantime, I hope maxis will serve me well.

yeah, thought so.. only digi staff can pull this kind of stunt.. well hopefully they will found the culprit soon.. do updates tho

Well, if only they are willing to share with the public. My contacts are from the marketing division, usually this kind of thing is for internal only. Probably the victims will have explanation from Digi.

I read the issues on infinite fb group, can't understand what really happened, but lotsa user got affected now.

Btw is it very easy to purchase via digi apps? Seems the owner didn't even know they're buying it. No need authentication or something?

MyDigi app behaves differently compared to the other telco apps.
If your phone uses Digi mobile data, the app will auto login into the app. No authentication needed.
So they are using the loophole by changing the SIM, put the new SIM and auto login.
After that, go for a shopping spree on the app.

Not like MyMaxis app, it needs your email and password, then you can proceed to login into the app.
Hotlink RED app behaves the same like MyDigi.
