I believe P20 has this feature, therotically it should also apply to mate 20 pro, but so far I haven't see any article/video on disabling the notch. However with the disabling, the display ratio seems to be even lower

here, around 1min mark. it look so much better without the notch. lowered display ratio,no choice... have to sacrifice abit for the beauty of this mate 20 pro.

I tried hand on and disabled the notch , looking fine. 1 of the feature might pro long the battery which is the screen resolution setting , can set to HD+ , FHD n default QHD. I didnt find this options in mate 20.

Is the screen resolution config differences significant?

i currently use oneplus 5t, great gaming performance! only complaint is the speakers suck and the position suck!

however i was a huawei mate 8 user, and i miss the knock and knuckle shortcuts. i also still using a huawei mediapad m3 for watching videos and games.

both mate 8 and mediapad m3 uses same kirin 950, and they both are not great at playing heavy graphics games.

M20pro can't get the dew drop notch because it has more sensors at front, i.e the face id scanner

There is, it official on 11 11 2018. I heard from Huawei store that they might start pre order next week but not confirmed yet. I am also waiting. It is in my must buy list. Just hope that the promotion package is good although the mpen and case is confirmed preorder free gift
