TBH, Huawei should consider a 256GB NM card as a free gift rather than the speaker, wireless charger, the Band 5 or the drone.

It's more practical gift...seeing that we can't buy that NM card in open market ATM.

For now, it's as good as buying a Mate 20 series phone without expandable memory.

For me 128gb is more than enough, so as to most users, I think just use as is and by the time if we ever ran out of 128gb, the NM card is available perhaps biggrin.gif

not sure yet, very little details now. hopefully it will come with cloud storage as well so anything deleted from phone but backed up to this drive can be easily accessible.

256MB ist enough for daily use XD....

Yea.. it should give a 128 or 256 gb. As free gift. To push the standard.

And release a 512gb for serious user.

With WhatsApp media, photos, video, games, children movies...I'm hitting 92GB of my Mate 9 64+64 (sd card).

With the amount of media consumption we are dealing with in the current trend & the kind of things that we do with our high-end phones...128GB is not remarkably "spacious".

I mean, if Huawei design the tray to cater for both NM & SD memory...it's a big plus is terms of flexibility.

Like you said "It's enough for now". But with "Proprietary" piece of equipment, adoption is always a hit or a miss thing.

I have a 64gb memory card which keeps all things I had from phone to phone.. And with a phone with 64gb internal, so far I never ran out of memory yet sweat.gif but yeah it is quite filled up already, but to make sense this has been accumulated for many year, its due time to backup into computer and clean up.. Just that I'm still lazy to do it (because it hasn't full yet).. But ya, if I start fresh with 128gb storage, I think it will take me more than 2 years to fill it up

Honestly speaking the new format memory is really not a wise move. Other manufacturers may not want to use Huawei card, and causing it to unable to expand.

I think the drone is not worthy as its not that good of a drone. More of a toy drone with not much use case. Would've been nice if they were giving away older gen mavics or something instead

Agree. Enough wasn't meet everyone usage. Especially malaysia only bring in one spec. 6+128 for pro model.

I am quite heavy on using phone memory....64+128 on mate 9 too. (Mate 9 is a good device....)
