It no show what the reading. Then after i talk to the live chat agent, then i login web again it show got update, i update. after update it wont check reading already. direct ask to do speed test only.
Previous before update, it check reading and no speedtest.

PON LED blinking, need help. Did replug the fibre cable, problem still persist.

Live chat to TIME mention there is some engineers working on-site.

Called CS mention there is no one working on-site.

Ask my friend living nearby, nothing wrong with his TIME.

Currently running AX20 as main router and EC230 provided by TIME as secondary router

I want to connect LAN to WAN as I want to separate all my smart devices from the main router. No matter what setting i do on the EC230, i just cannot get internet connection on it.

This is my setting on the EC230. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Recently i just installed TIME at my unit. However, during the instalation process, i wasnt there as i was busy at work and was attended by a female family member alone.
I was told that there will not be any additional cost, but what baffles me was at the end of the instalation, they requested RM150.
Who told you that ? Perhaps you will need to check with that person.

Reason was additional 10M from the default 20M was used for the fibre optic. They charged RM10 per additional Meter and RM50 for drilling a hole from front door to inside.
It seems that the contractor who did the wiring decided to use a longer distance when a shorter distance was available. My family member was alone while they are two person, therefore chose to keep quiet to prevent any "trouble:
Usually Installer will get consent from you/your representative before starting their work. And if there is any extra cable involved, then they will inform you prior to work start.

Has anyone faced such situation before? I find this very unfair and the contractor insisted on CASH only. They also did not sign nor stamp on the document when payment was made. The service report only marked the additional 10M fibre optic plus access point. Plus, the workman ship was horrible, the gluegun used as an adhesive for fibre optic did not last and my wires are now dangling
You may complain this issue to TIME CS @ 1800 18 1818, Installer needs to provide you with a receipt.

Not sure I am suppose to ask or it was asked many times before, is the Latency(ping) will be the same between both 100Mbps & 500Mbps ?

I am still in a dilemma to choose between these two options.

Additional RM40 is affordable but still felt that 500Mbps is Overkill.

Been using TM my whole life, purpose is just for WFH, netflix, instagram, browsing etc. So i guess the speed is alright.

I saw some people here promote transfer of their account under the new owner name and they will pay for the transfer cost for those still under contract. If transfer to my name, my new contract period is still 24 months or follow the previous owner remaining contract period?

I cannot seem to login to the TP Link EC230-G1 router from TIME. Already used the TIME(4 last MAC ID).

I also tried to reset the router to factory default using the button at the back. No go. What is going on? Anyone has this issue before?

Time seems to have serious issues with thunderstorms and outages in my area. Every time there's a downpour, there's a chance the whole network goes down. And when it goes down, it's down for an entire day. This is in Elmina Valley btw, so the infrastructure should be fairly new.

Frustrating when you want to play spellbreak but can't. Yes yes first world problems.

But really. When the internet dies roughly 25% of the time there's a thunderstorm you start dreading the monsoon season.

On 4th Aug, Time came in my apartment to carry out the fiber lay (from outside manhole to internal building), fiber termination completed in internal building as well... according to then (on Aug), currently they cannot proceed further as this project still pending JKR approval....now already more than 1 month still no update from Time....

guys, usually how long it need to take for JKR to approve? What will be the next after this? (before we can apply for it) In fact, we are not sure when Time submit the request to JRK....initially i though Time only can start the project once all request has been approved??

I actually missed your reply. We're not a condo. Elmina is touted to be the first landed project with TIME broadband. Not sure who laid the infra; I think its a joint effort by Sime Darby (the dev) and TIME. Residents get 2 years of free broadband, in return TIME gets exclusivity. That's literally no TM line into this entire development of 1k+ houses.

Usually the service is impeccable. It's just the almost guaranteed outtages that acompanies every thunderstorm that gets on my nerves. Pretty sure TIME knows about the issue since they're the ones sending out the service outtage SMS and fixing things. Also pretty sure that they'd prefer a long-term solution themselves, instead of constantly having to send technicians here.
