QUOTE(Kurosagi @ Apr 30 2020, 01:40 PM) Have been subscribing to the 500mb package but I only get around 90mbps, is that normal ? I'm testing with wifi Bro, testing your ISP internet speed with wifi is not idle. Wifi is prone to interferences, hence will not give you the true speed. The best way to test your internet speed (always) is by using a Good Ethernet cable. Direct connect your router to your PC/Laptop, then do speed test. That would give you the closest true speed.

QUOTE(cablesguy @ May 5 2020, 04:38 PM) Wta, Im on 1Gb plan, but speedtest maxes out at 940+, is that normal? Was on 500Mb before and speedtest was always >500. Just asking. Tx Thats normal. Last time i upgraded to 1Gbps to test the speed. Max i could get was around 920-950 max(rarely). Even though my SNR seem to be good.

QUOTE(RagingCandy @ May 19 2020, 04:30 AM) No more warranty. I should avoid the hassle to flash the firmware then. My reading room hardly get good connection even router already at middle of the house. Any good recommendation for a condo size of 1110sqft? Using Time 100Mbps. My personal favorite is Asus. If you are on budget, asus ac1300 does a good job for coverage.

QUOTE(RagingCandy @ May 19 2020, 05:24 PM) Is this model? https://www.lazada.com.my/products/asus-wif...2g7FbM&search=1I'm doing some research now. And come out with a question that I'm not able to answer well - should I go for AX (Wifi 6) instead with a top up of RM100+. My budget is around RM300-400 range. If you are not extremely budget tight, then surely go for AX. Its future proof as many of new devices support AX mode.

QUOTE(KarthikRaj95 @ May 22 2020, 11:25 PM) Hi, my place TIME internet no coverage but got fibre optic connection. How to make TIME internet available in my place? please help me. Very frustrating using TM. If no TIME coverage, you cant make the internet available by TIME. Maybe you can try Maxis fiber if its available as usually they run on TM's fiber.

QUOTE(RagingCandy @ May 23 2020, 02:08 PM) Bought AX10 today. So far very satisfied with the speed. 5GHz performance is very stable compare to C1200. Setup only take few minutes using Tp Link Tether App (Tips - turn off your data plan. else the app will not detect the new router). Below are the results with following conditions - Time 100Mbps subscription - 5GHz wifi - mother in law streaming Kodi iCdrama and wifi streaming Youtube while cooking 1) PC with Intel WiFi Link 5300. Located in a room that furthest in the house and placed on a floor (2 walls and 1 door). Since it is Wireless G adapter - max upload speed is 54Mbps. 2) A laptop with Intel AX200. Same location. Glad to hear you have speed improvements. ;-) enjoy

QUOTE(Johnson91 @ May 28 2020, 12:55 PM) Hey guys, I have already send TIME numerous time "We hear you" regarding my location request. I even ask my neighbors from same building send the request, but no luck so far. Is there anyway contact time asking them to come here? Setia Alam BTW If same building i believe the management can compile the request from all owners. Then send to TIME. Thats how my condo did it.

QUOTE(objectifyme @ Jun 10 2020, 09:27 PM) Hello, everyone! I'm a current TIME Broadband user (500mbps at RM139 per month), but unfortunately, I have to move out of my apartment shortly and won't be able to carry on with the service at my next accommodation. If you're interested in taking over ownership (at no charges to you), please let me know. This means you won't have to commit to a full 24 months. I have two subscriptions, one belonging to me and the other belonging to a relative. Mine ends Feb 2021, while my relative's ends around Dec 2020. Please let me know if you're interested. Thanks. how much penalty you have to pay if you breach the contract?

QUOTE(ultrairpoe @ Jun 14 2020, 06:01 PM) Hi all, Just installed time yesterday and subscribe to 500mb package. However, i rarely get the speed i paid. Using cable max is 350mb. Using wifi 5ghz managed to get max 200mb. I'm still happy since i moved from streamyx 8mb but I still hope I get what I pay for. Do I need to change any settings in the router? I'm using the modem provided TP Link EC230 use newer laptop to test. the tech use his laptop can get 500 right?

QUOTE(ultrairpoe @ Jul 13 2020, 11:45 PM) what router are you using? Better get AX la. Future devices will support AX. Bandwidth is larger, you can get higher throughput (again dependent on wireless interference)

QUOTE(DarkWRC @ Jul 16 2020, 09:56 PM) you mean that router is already good rite? maybe i can change the location first...move it a bit... a repeater would be a good lower cost solution... You can also look at powerline solution as well. It works good (just make sure your place running on single phase electric).

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Aug 21 2020, 08:07 AM) Hello, can you check what are the options for Internet Connection Type? Thanks Are you planning to create 2 different networks? (1 network 192.168.0.X and another 1 network 192.168.2.X) If yes, then you need to create route between these 2 network to get to internet. If you want to make it simpler, you can just make you second router as merely a AP. In this case, you can set AX20 as DHCP server and second router as client as well as other devices.
