line need to be active to buy any package. once u bought the package lets say 15days data. you will have 15 days data. your line no need to be active for 15 days.
u can use the data u just cant make normal calls

Every time some1 call me
It will have chance to auto cut off before i may answer the call
Even if i able answer it got no sounds and will auto cut off within few sec
But after few attempts then the call will work like normal , full bar signal with 5G

Not sure is sim faulty? As internet have no issue
Or phone issue as using china set vivo x90

Seeks for advice if someone have any experience

Just buy dedicated phone for hotspot then. Xiaomi zmi z1 is a good dedicated dumbphone for hotspot. Small enough like nokia keypad dumbphone with 5000mah battery and cheap enough below rm200. Won't be violating any terms since its a literal phone with proper imei and stuff.

even u in hp, show 5G on data. but there chance u might connected at 4G network only..there come weakness on hp. unless u rooted it and lock at 5g band. it's happen. cause hp is run auto connection only.

unless u rooted it/ able to lock 5g band. sure u 100% get 5g connected no matter what.

Afaik, 5G can "carrier aggregation" more bandwidth (lowband-700MHz and midband-3.5GHz) to give higher Internet speed of about 300Mbps than 4G LTE-Advance's about 150Mbps.
....... 5G highband-28GHz can reach 1Gbps because it has larger bandwidth, ie a range of 1600GHz = can "carrier aggregation" even more bandwidth, ... but it covers only city centers and high-foot traffic areas like shopping malls, stadiums/concerts and theme parks.

The rollout of 5G coverage should also be slow like previously for 4G, ie main cities(1st year) --> other cities --> urban areas --> towns --> suburban areas --> rural areas. It may take about 5 years for suburban and rural areas to get 5G coverage.
