Maybe the HU position is not good.. or, maybe correct you said that there is no anti-reflection..  Regarding phone holder, i bought at Mr. Diy for 5.6 inch phone.. So far so good.. the rubber on the suction is sticky one instead of hard rubber.. around RM 13.. Its very good..
you can just change android HU around RM 500-700..

I bought that from Mr DIY before too haha but the platform that uses the 3M sticker came off after a few months.

That makes sense. I guess the HU is not anti-reflection also. The only problem I have with using the navi app on phone is that the phone holders I buy keep getting loose or breaks after a few months.
*
The HU screen is matte, but probably its due the angle of the screen, plus improper brightness & contrast settings. Setting it high for daytime and it would be too bright at night.

I never see the need for a holder. Once I setup the destination, I place the phone in landscape at the central cupholder area. I just rely on the HU screen to guide where i'm going.

I using Capdase Racer (Car RearView Mirror Mount) for the last 4 years, maybe won't be any issue for the next 4 years or more. Even my new 3 weeks old car I use the same holder. Never use car holder installed on windscreen. Another holder is PPYPLE car cd slot mount. Also use for 4 years already in the same car.

2 biji at dashboard, how about another 2?

Side airbag inside the passenger and your seat. Should have a tag there.

So the FL HU doesn't auto dim? Pre FL, if turn on the light, HU screen also become dim, following all the light at meter, aircond controller. How dim can bet set manually.

Putting it at the cup holder good enough to see the map on the phone?

Going one size up is better imho. Improves the grip. But too big the upsize you will trade for slower acceleration, higher tyre wear, higher tyre noise, higher tyre prices, more bodyroll if ur tyre width/wall ratio isn't compensated, heavier steering maneuvering at slow speeds.

Yes, after I mirror the phone to HU, I don't need to see the phone screen when using Google Maps. As long phone is in landscape mode, the HU will follow its orientation.

Anyone has installed the Viofo A129 Duo in their car? Did you do it yourself or brought it to a shop to install it? Especially the rear camera.
Any recommended place in Penang to get it installed?

Must be a damn good party trick to attract girls. Perhaps Honda was thinking of that too when designing the keyless. brows.gif
