Between grab and getting the car, it's more economical for me to get the car. That is after considering many factors.
Yeah, I don't think I'll plan to sell the car for at least 7 years. But, who knows what happens by then. If I strike the lottery or what, then the RV is also not going to be much of an issue too. Haha

Bargain with SA, year end will have a huge discount too to clear off inventory.

I was thinking to go for coating but decided to call it off. Because after coating still need to wash and take care too or else water spots appear too. I decided go for periodically wash and wash
*
And coating makes it impossible to do spot touch up on the car...

I had visitors aboard my car this weekend and I was damn malu when we went over a road hump and the 'nyek nyek' sound happen. Nobody said anything but everyone in the car can hear it.

City can drive 180km/h without damaging engine. I try multiple times b4, but tyre botak really2 fast. In 1 year only 20k km, it already bald. Lol. And it tiring as hell driving fast. I think due to weight, weak braking and out of breath power once try to gain back speed after slowdown.

I no longer drive fast using city, but still drive a bit fast (140km/h to 160km/h) using another car, camry 2.4v. People here said toyota suspension soft like pandan; but I feel highway cruising damn nice compare to city which use hard suspension.. I believe due to weight as camry is around 1500kg, while city only 1100kg.

Now insaf city drive only 120km/h, tyre can last 50k km wo. Not tipu one, I also shock.
Ya, agree. City not really suitable drive fast.

The steering feels too light. Doesn’t instill confidence during high speed cornering.

Ya. That's why I am still thinking laugh.gif But I didnt plan to change the rim, only change the rubber. The original size only have eco tyre......
*
17inch is the current trend for most of the cars, so more choices compared to 16inch. Price difference is not that big too.

205/50/r16 will fit just fine to stock 16inch rim. But got a feeling that the tire is sliding slightly at the bottom side during hard cornering. Maybe just my feeling...dunno 🤔

Yes. Steering so light combined with light body weight, really nightmare drive at cross wind.

Few times need to slow down when cruise high speed along pedas linggi/senawang due to strong wind. Can easily felt the wind hit car body.

But some city owner just hentam drive fast2 during strong wind. Really topkek la.lol
Not only city. I feel other car in my house also got the same characteristics. Pump in full tank. The needle stay so long at full indicator. Then below half, the drop rate down really fast.
*
Occasionally I also whack 180 lah. Only if all stars aligned, straight line, clear traffic, good weather.
If kena pot hole or some crazy cars suddenly cucuk into your lane without judging your speed = die...😱

of course the tyre will fit because the diameter is the same. However, the width of the rim does not suits the tyre...Stock rim is about 5-5.5inch wide...It suits best tyre size 175/185. The rim and tyre sidewall will be straight.

When you change from 185 to 205 without changing the stock rim, now you still have same rim witdh or 5/5.5inch with a wider tyre. If you notice, now your tyre surface is wider than your rim. You can see your tyre sidewall curving towards the rim instead of straight. This is 1 of the reason that cause the tyre sliding feel because the force should come from above not inwards.

It happen to my car also last time...first i change from 185/55/15 to 195/55/15 on stock rim (5inch width). Later on i change the stock rim to aftermarket rims with 6/6.5 inch while using the same tyre. It feels much more better compare to using stock rims...
*
I know...the stock rim is just too narrow.
The only reason that stops me from replacing it, is that Enkei stock rim is so well-built, like a tank.
You can basically throw a nuclear bomb at it, & it will still probably survive. 😒

Any problems if use battery water to topup radiator? According to the bottle label, it uses 100% deionised water.
*
If you’re familiar with PC water cooling, they don’t recommend to use deionised water on rads.
The water will pull ions from the aluminum fins of the rad causing corrosion. Didn’t try out that theory though.

Wowzers! That City nearly collected the innocent Axia. Must have scared the shits out of the Axia driver.

Wet road, probably no VSA like what nordingh suspected, way too fast, hardbraking during a turn. I am very well familiar with that stretch, a left uphill with right downhill that bends to left again just before a short straight up to the ramp, I would normally start braking as soon as I clear the top, but as a long gradual braking, not hard like that driver did. I suspect that person panicked and overbrake, the City braking is hard to estimate accurately how much pressure to apply.

That person didn't totally lose the rear but did not immediately start countersteering (panic maybe) hence went straight into the barrier. Something similar happened to me once long time ago somewhere else, and I'm lucky I still alive.
*
You’re right, the driver didn’t skid, but he did over react by oversteer to the right trying to compensate.

Btw how do you know the driver is hand braking? 🤔

Yes, me too. I change all to LED too except lowbeam (use Hella brand) and highbeam (still original Osram). Not sure how much cost me, everything mixed with some Philips, Osram, Korean brand and some China made. Mostly RM1.5K and above... and still counting as I still buying more LEDs for new car.

Last time I installed DRL twice, then remove all. Now using a switchback DRL/signal.
*
Bro, for pre-FL, if want to change to DRL, need cut wires? 🤔

I recently bought H11 LED from a brand called Novsight. Have dual color. Somemore it claims to be Lumileds ZES LED. And also it doesn’t cause EMI problem with my FM radio, unlike some cheap LEDs.
So far I am happy with it.

anyone change Bosch horn? where to get the adapter socket for plug n play?
i saw fb someone sell haflfcut claim from japan for the twitter, 1 pair 100bucks.. worth to try?
*
I am using Bosch horn.
No need adapter, the accessories shop just fashioned DIY pins and plug into the original socket and tape it to prevent it from coming loose & from water.

I am curious about this. If they can replace the horn at the currently installed location, do they need to take out the front bumper?
In my Persona previously, my wireman claimed need to take out bumper, so very 'ma fan', so he used screw holes at my firewall to install a new horn (my old one busted).
*
Bosch horn is 2pc design. Cannot fit behind the bumper.
So I just left the original horn there, install the horns in the engine compartment & route the wires to the bumper. I can share you some pictures of my setup, but I am currently overseas.

Ohh. Very "creative" where ur pomen places the horns. Both located at 1 side, sure super loud.
*
Haha, I asked them to put there one. cool2.gif
Because the Bosch horn is not waterproof, so I decided inside the engine area is the best.
Super loud, got sound signature of a continental car.

No lar. I think he meant the SA told him if tint outside, power windows no longer cover by warranty. Typical scare tactics, easy to fool unkers & aunties, girls, and waterfish guys. Even my mother was bugging me to get the tint from SA, though I was planning to do outside. Just so ngam, Honda Ecotint promo came in and i quickly ask my SA change to that promo.
*
Only if SC can prove that got water damage on the motor.
All those SA use scare tactics one
