I think ZM Fong can help out on this one.

My take is that if you neeed longer time to be on the go , consider getting a laptop that uses USB Type C for charging or offers PD over USB-C. So you can buy a powerbank that has PD support and plug it in so you get longer working hours on the laptop

My Lenovo X1 can be charged by USB-C powerbank 45W (but it needs to be off) , however my work's X280 can be easily charged that way and get it powered on the go smile.gif

1. Weight below 1.3kg (thin)
2. Budget below 4k,
3. Size 14 inch or below,
4. Processor i5 or i7,
5. Used for videos, internet, office stuff and light gaming
6. Support USB 3.0 and above, or type C if ok
7. With HDMI (if possible)
8. Local warranty
9. Memory >=128GB SSD, RAM >=4GB
10. Can last at least 4 hrs without charge, when using office related software

Can't guarantee reliability on consumer grade laptops like Ultrabooks

- Work + Casual Gaming
- MS Office
- Website
- Streaming
- Work as an Engineer. Lots of AutoCAD viewing, Emails, Typing
- Casual Gamer (Cities Skylines)

3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :
- 13-15inch Display
- Battery life is not a factor
- Weight prefarably not more than 2kg (move around alot)
- Prefer to have a nice design (alumininium)
- Good Keyboard for typing (a MBP user before)
- Prefer i5 and GTX1060 but AMD equivalent is ok for me too.

Brands (Models) in mind: Lenovo (Y Series), HP (Gaming, Envy), Illegear (Onyx Lite). Can suggest others too.

nope i dont had preference on that. I just looking the laptop with medium-high spec that can support external graphic card through thunder bolt 3.
