Sigh.... gerbils grow old.... as they grow older, they suffer diseases too.

Bubbles, one of the pioneer breeder has a face tumour.... her left face is swollen and hard, can only open the left eye very small.

Bandit, also one of the golden breeders during his days has scent gland tumour.

Spoke to a vet before, taking out tumours is quite hard, especially on small animals like rodents due to their small size and tiny blood vessels.

Well, Bandit and Bubbles were both bought from different petshops... Bubbles around October 2004 while Bandit is November 2004.....

oh dear, so sorry to hear that. hope they r still active... so they are going to be 3 yr old soon. try google see if there is anything can let them eat may help?

Yah.... 3 years old... I suspect they were born around this month or next coz I didn't get as 2 month old gerbils but a bit older....

No pain, both also very active... no open wound... busy eat and sleep and play. I think all I can do is give good life to them loh.

at least still active, see if any holistic healing in internet?

Ahhh!! One of my gerbil's nose bleed i think... kinda redish looking... >_< That day i was out of Chipsi Classic so i bought Chipsi Citrus nearby my house since I can't find Chipsi Classic anywhere nearby... =.= Should i do something about the nose??

stop using that bedding. get a new bag of chipsi or delikate, then the nose will be ok.

what u can do is, get a bag of chipsi classic or delikate, everytime u use 80% chipsi classic or delikate mix 20% of Chipsi Citrus. just to finished the bedding.

never buy those bedding with prefume..

gerbils 3 yrs old considered old?

3 years ah? Almost half its lifespan perhaps?

I already finish up the chipsi citrus since my glass tank is 2.5ft.... Need lots of bedding.. Anyone bought Chipsi Classic from Buddy Pet Wagon online before?? ----> Click Here I dunno whether to buy it online or not since no one recommended it...

I can't get any Chipsi that is w/o flavor and also delikate... I only found those shop selling Living World and Chipsi w/ flavour... Sigh...

where r u from? go JTL shop in sunway she has alot. if not 88 also has both brand.

I am in between kajang and cheras PetShack is too far away... endanger did sell chipsi classic but our time always clashes so we can't meet... anyway, i will try to search for it... I need it really badly If anyone knows about the website that i posted above pls tell me ya... coz i dunno whether i can trust it anot
