Where is this statistics you refer to come from?
And can you clarify what you mean by adjustments is taking place? I might have missed something you said in one of your earlier posts.
This is basically my pure opinion. I believe not everyone have 100 Mbps in the first place , as most of them are on 30 Mbps and 50 Mbps which they are paying up to RM 199 per month. They did not receive promotion from TM previously to enjoy 100 Mbps.
Therefore, they are large portion of customers paying for the price of 30 Mbps and 50 Mbps. However, with the price of 50 Mbps, they are customers getting 100 Mbps but the portion is quite small.
I am one of the customer that questioned TM why I couldn't enjoy 500 Mbps or 800 Mbps as I am paying exactly the same price as them and I demand an adjustment either to my month subscription fees or the speed I am entitled.
I believe TM is trying to use the Turbo Upgrade as a chance to standardized the pricing for all customers. However, it is arguable for both situations
1. TM mentioned that the speed upgrade is according to your previous package / subscription instead of the price.
2. The MSAP price before 300 Mbps is RM 139, but many customers being charged at RM 199 including me.
3. With that same price also, many customers are on 50 Mbps package, which is almost equivalent to 100 Mbps RYE package.
I believe based on the above, TM is trying to maximize their profit by upgrading some RYE customers to 500 Mbps only. This is purely my hypothesis
