I am unsure if it is because of all the evidence I collected from here regarding users who are paying RM 189 for 100 Mbps who are going to get Turbo to 800 Mbps while I am still using 30 Mbps at RM 199 excluding SST and blast to top management of TM with stakeholders, ministries, media in the CC list .

I think they did take it very seriously and make necessary revision, but I think as long as even they didn't give u 800, but they did revised your price then is ok lo

Can share their top management contact here? It's time for some of the victims here to blast some e-mail and include all relevant gov officials.

I think I have already attached the outlook msg file here before. It contains screenshots of all the evidence I collected to prove about the unfair and inconsistent pricing with message and recipients.

So, if now I'm willing to pay RM 189, will they give me 800Mbps? I doubt so.
I mind a lot on the entitlement, simple understanding 100 to 800, since when become 500 only? Doesn't make sense. I will not give in even if my sister is OK with it.

According to statistics there are greater proportion of users paying RM 179 for 50 Mbps, and there are still larger proportion paying 329 or 200 ++ over for 100 Mbps, therefore, adjustment has taken place. (My view)

TM now is trying to stop people from pouring in more evidence that customers are paying just RM 189 for 800 Mbps because this affect their earnings

Is time for everyone of us here blast emails to them regarding this inconsistent pricing. This will benefit a lot of users who are on 30 and 50 Mbps before paying RM 199 / RM 189, but it might affect users paying RM 189 for 100 Mbps before

Where is this statistics you refer to come from?

And can you clarify what you mean by adjustments is taking place? I might have missed something you said in one of your earlier posts.

This is basically my pure opinion. I believe not everyone have 100 Mbps in the first place , as most of them are on 30 Mbps and 50 Mbps which they are paying up to RM 199 per month. They did not receive promotion from TM previously to enjoy 100 Mbps.

Therefore, they are large portion of customers paying for the price of 30 Mbps and 50 Mbps. However, with the price of 50 Mbps, they are customers getting 100 Mbps but the portion is quite small.

I am one of the customer that questioned TM why I couldn't enjoy 500 Mbps or 800 Mbps as I am paying exactly the same price as them and I demand an adjustment either to my month subscription fees or the speed I am entitled.

I believe TM is trying to use the Turbo Upgrade as a chance to standardized the pricing for all customers. However, it is arguable for both situations

1. TM mentioned that the speed upgrade is according to your previous package / subscription instead of the price.
2. The MSAP price before 300 Mbps is RM 139, but many customers being charged at RM 199 including me.
3. With that same price also, many customers are on 50 Mbps package, which is almost equivalent to 100 Mbps RYE package.

I believe based on the above, TM is trying to maximize their profit by upgrading some RYE customers to 500 Mbps only. This is purely my hypothesis

Built on years of telling TM they are expensive, incompetent and hard bargaining. In this day and age, I still feel rm129 / 100 Mbps is still expensive. These days, internet access is a compulsory utility just like water and electricity, when you think of it that and the kind of scale that means, internet access should be a lot cheaper. A hell of a lot.

They said they already expedited my Turbo Upgrade totally ignoring the issue keep repeating it is promotion bla bla bla and end my live chat. All my live chat are ended automatically

RM199 can get 800mbps already. No point argue with TM, just downgrade to 100mbps or change to other provider.
Some of us are paying RM159, 169, 179, 199 for 800mbps, will you be satisfied paying that much for merely 300mbps?  devil.gif  devil.gif

Except someone would wiling to share their bill, then you have no proof to argue with TM for unfair pricing.  whistling.gif  whistling.gif

Btw, are you that person who posted on facebook regarding the unfair pricing?

Initially, I got the same issue also. I press reset button on the BTU, turn off everything and turn it on back after 15 minutes. The worst case should be 90 ++ Mbps

This is a long story which I am still fighting with them, already complained via MCMC.
I was from RYE 100 so rightfully I should be upgraded to 800Mbps but the staff in TM Point gave me some discounts and now I'm only paying 169, product team refused to give me 800 but instead I'm Turbo-ed to 500Mbps. I guess I'm the only case in Malaysia which got upgraded from 100 to 500. doh.gif

Anyhow, I do believe I have a strong argument and valid supporting, I should win in this case.
*
You know why? they start realizing that upgrading RYE users to 800 Mbps who are paying at RM 199 will decrease their profit by a lot. Just wonder why Time can do it at RM 199 for 1 Gbps but why can't TM?

I think by the end, they will just revert back to the original price and give you 800 Mbps. Just speed test show 800 Mbps only nia, because it is highly unlikely you able to achieve those type of speed
