Yes, I can find the network adapter on my device manager, and update the driver to the latest version. I can even find my wifi network from the available wifi network list, but once it connected, if access to any website, the internet will disconnect after few sec, and the same issue happen again everytime i troubleshoot the problem.

Trying to check with TP Link Support hotline, they told me the adapter have to use at PCIEx1 slot.  confused.gif
This sound strange to me as well. I also using asrock mb, but my mb don have PCIE x 1 slot. But my PCIE x 16 slot able to detect the adapter, just i cant access to internet. I wondering whether i get a faulty adapter.

All PCIE X1 should work in PCIE X16. I have the TX3000E and it works on PCIE X16.

I guess you should try to plug it into another PCIE slot or another PC to verify whether it is a system configuration or hardware issue.

Guys.. noobies looking for some help.

I've just started using TIME 100MB and was given EC230-G! TPLink Wireless Router. However the coverage is not good at all as my 2nd floor is not covered 100%. I bought Tenda A18 but somehow whenever I tried configure to extend the wireless, my TIME Router always shows amber light when the Tenda connected to it.

Is there any tweaking needed to tweak the sotck TIME router as the Tenda A18 is just simple connection wizard.

Can anyone help please..

Hi I do have a Tplink T9UH sitting in it’s box unused(since I’ve upgraded my laptop), I do have an old desktop(usb2.0 ports only) and has an Dlink DWA-172 usb WiFi adapter on it

Is it worth “retiring” the DWA-172 for the TP-link T9UH?

Using Unifi 100 mbps, AX92U mesh WiFi system

Or should I continue using the DWA-172?

Just got myself a new Archer AX20 after read some of the positive comments about it here. This is to replace my Dlink Covr 1100 given by TM during installation last few days ago.

Probably a good time to consider getting a 160Mhz router considering that it's natively supported on Snapdragon 888 and a ton of devices are going to use that SoC.

Though personally I am not a fan of 160Mhz as the range is weaker compared to 80Mhz mode.

Hi All, IT dummy here. I would like to seek suggestion on good performance router:

House type: Landed
Size of house: 2080 Square feet & 2 and a half floors
Features required: I just want to stream 4k videos, be it on Youtube or Astro on my TV at ground and 2nd floor
Number of devices connected to WiFi: 7-8
Internet Speed:
Currently 100mbps unifi plan, tested via LAN cable (1st floor) and is able to get ~120mbps download speed (via fast.com). However, WiFi via mobile can only get ~7 mbps downstairs (ground floor). WiFi signal is normally full or next to full bar. Checked WiFi channel and there's no obvious overlap of WiFi frequency (on 2.4GHz)

Budget: RM 300 - RM 500

DISCLAIMER: i don't know any tech jargon and the above summary is from a friend of mine.

THANKS for your time and recommendation in advance.

don't use 2.4Ghz band if you want to enjoy more than 50mbps on wifi. use 5Ghz band. Tplink Ax20 can do the job and it's cheaper too.

from your msg
you have poor wifi coverage on gnd floor .

you have 2 options.

1. mesh network tplink M4 M5 M9 depends on your budget
or
2. get 1 tplink AX20 . use in AP mode . wire LAN it to your Main router
position this ax20 at the ground floor stair case wall . or around here .
this will give excellent coverage on the gnd floor .

In that case, he has to check whether VLAN is set to Unifi Profile.

Thanks

Try to update the firmware.
If still don't have Unifi Profile. Try using custom method.

Thanks
