I think Ferrari gonna win this weekend Either way, we'll hear another Alonso's 'words of wisdom' Legendary commentator returns Murray Walker's expected return to the Formula One commentary booth is now set for the European Grand Prix, it has emerged. The legendary personality, famous for his on-air slips or 'Murrayisms' throughout his long career on British television and radio, will replace the BBC's David Croft for a one-off at the Nurburgring. Croft has pulled out of the event scheduled for late next month because his wife is due to have their first child. 83-year-old Walker's Radio Five Live call, however, will not be his first since retiring from full-time duty in 2001. He has also called one-off races for Australia's Channel 10, as well as for the Grand Prix Masters series, and appeared at several Grand Prix as an ambassador for the Honda team.http://www.f1-live.comThis post has been edited by Raikkonen: Jun 26 2007, 06:05 PM

Just pointing out what he's been saying lately about Lewis. And...anti-Alonso A warning from... Aguri `hungry for more` points Tuesday 26th June 2007 QUOTE Super Aguri have had to revise their goals for this season having already outdone their initial expectations.
The Japanese outfit entered their second season in Formula One hoping to score one point, a 100 percent improvement on last year's results.
However, the team has already achieved that goal and more, scoring four points in the opening seven races of the year.
Takuma Sato clinched the team's maiden point at the Spanish GP and followed that up with a three-point haul at the Canadian race.
"I believe that the team has performed above its station on all levels. The driver pairing that we have has enabled us to make steps forward in our preparations for each race," said sporting director Graham Taylor.
"The addition of Ant's technical ability paired with Taku's F1 experience has settled into a good relationship immediately, with the engineering team benefiting from both cars in all sessions over a race weekend.
"This has put pressure on everyone in the team and on many occasions we have been able to show our true potential. Our target was to join the F1 fraternity and score a point.
"Now that we have amassed four points it has left us hungry for more and increased our fighting spirit even further." This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Jun 27 2007, 02:10 AM

'Sutil can be Hamilton's biggest rival'QUOTE Spyker F1 team boss Colin Kolles believes Adrian Sutil can become Lewis Hamilton's biggest rival on track. Lewis Hamilton is currently leading the Formula 1 championship and has been racing with Sutil in the Formula 3 series two years ago.
Hamilton has shocked the Formula 1 world this season as he finished his first seven races on the podium but F1's other rookie, Adrian Sutil, has also been doing well at Spyker defeating his team-mate Christijan Albers at various occasions.
To Spyker team boss Colin Kolles it is pretty clear. Sutil will become Hamilton's biggest challenge in Formula 1. "In Adrian Sutil we have the number one challenger to Lewis Hamilton," Kolles told PA. "But we have to provide our drivers with a better car so they can challenge. Adrian was Lewis Hamilton's former team-mate in Formula 3 so they know each other's strengths and they know each other's weaknesses.
"He is a promising young talent for us, but we have to be realistic with where we are at the moment in terms of the car. We are always working on improving the car and we need to provide him with a better car to compete against the best teams and drivers. Adrian is a big asset for the future. I believe in the future Adrian will be a big rival on the track to Lewis Hamilton." SourceI seriously do not understand the hype surrounding Sutil at the moment. His past has rather been an up down and mostly its a downturn. Still since that he was a teammate of Lewis doesnt means that he is better in anyway

Still do you think that he is that fit to be the next best rival to Lewis? And the fact that they are comparing with his teammate to prove how good he is is just plain wrong... i mean a good driver doesnt do mistakes and has a complete concentration when driving on the track. This is what i seen from Lewis and about Sutil... This post has been edited by -= Virgil =-: Jun 27 2007, 11:48 AM

Look at the car he drove. Albers drove the Spyker to it's limit, but Sutil still manage to get one second more out of it. And one second is HUGE for a car like Spyker. Sure he might seem rough, but IMO, it's more because he has to drive the car to the max than his driving

So far Lewis did not make critical mistakes during races. He will...soon We'll just have to wait and see when Sutil gets a good car. If he gets a good car This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Jun 27 2007, 02:35 PM

Now or never for F1 career - Bourdais "You don't get into Formula One past 30" 26/06/07 QUOTE Sebastien Bourdais says 2008 is probably his last chance to launch a career in Formula One.
The Champ Car title leader , who has won the last three championships in the American open-wheeler series , is closely linked with a move to Toro Rosso and is scheduled to test the car again at the upcoming Spa Francorchamps session in July.
But the 28-year-old Frenchman is also firmly established with a young family in Florida and admits that moving to NASCAR might also be an attractive option.
"Right now, there are three possibilities: stay in Champ Car, maybe Formula One and maybe NASCAR," he is quoted as saying by the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "That's a whole lot of maybes."
F1 has long been an ambition for Bourdais but he said it is frustrating that, despite his achievements - which include the F3000 title in 2002 - he is still being asked to prove himself at tests.
"I know what I can do, you know," he explained. "I've been around long enough. I know in a good car and good conditions, I can get it done. It's all about getting the right opportunity."
"If it's going to happen, it has to get going pretty soon," Bourdais continued. "You don't get into Formula One past 30 years old, and I'm 28, so it's pretty clear it's either going to be next year, or probably never." http://www.f1-live.comCan't wait to see what he can do. Honda expecting small step forward in France
Honda are still hunting their first point of 2007 as they head to this weekend's French Grand Prix. However, in light of their successful test in Spain last week, the Japanese team are optimistic of an improved showing at Magny-Cours.
While the majority of teams battled with rain showers at Silverstone, Honda headed to the sunnier climes of Jerez, where Jenson Button and tester Christian Klien got to trial a number of improvements to the RA107.
The team hope these developments will stand them in good stead for the forthcoming French race.
"We made some good progress at the three-day test in Jerez where the excellent weather allowed us to fully complete our planned programme," commented Shuhei Nakamoto, Honda's senior technical director.
"We were therefore able to sign off various new mechanical parts and an aerodynamic upgrade for the RA107 as well as further improvements to the stability under braking. We expect a small improvement in performance in both qualifying and the race next weekend at Magny-Cours."
Jacky Eeckelaert, the team's engineering director, echoed Nakamoto's comments: "Our initial conclusion is that the results from this week are positive and that we have seen a good correlation between the track data and the results from the wind tunnel. Therefore we expect to make a small step forward in performance at the next race."
Button ran 122 of Honda's 260 test laps at Jerez and reported that every single one of them was useful, although he was slightly more cautious on Honda's chances of closing the gap to their rivals in France. "I believe it was a positive test. However we need to wait until we get to Magny-Cours to see where we stand compared to the other teams."
Honda's best results to date in 2007 have been tenth places for Button's team mate, Rubens Barrichello, in Spain and Monaco.
