Well iPhone users will eventually accept such flaws and the standard statement " firmware fix soon" will be common
The chargegate problem is strange - I don't think is firmware related as not all are affected. So probably is hardware related. Is up to user to decide whether to get a replacement or live with it?? https://youtu.be/ndphYju6PVM |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 1 2018, 10:56 PM) I think you could get it at lesser than that online, but not sure if its ori Baseus. Should be case friendly and it is full coverage. Anyway, no choices for IP Xs Max. Its either this or the Rm 5 Tg. To me RM50 is ok. But yeah, one of the drawbacks of being an early adopter is that accessories are harder to come by and expensive in the beginning, but once the floodgate opens, then it multiplies in numbers and gets cheaper...QUOTE(celciuz @ Oct 2 2018, 06:14 AM) Sian cause I just opened it up and havenβt even used yet π
was pretty careful with it then noticed this π Gosh, that's bad. The ding came out of the box? |

Yeah, unfortunately. But doesn't make sense for me to return the unit... charging seems ok, Wi-Fi seems ok to. But need to until my case comes then I will start using it Gosh, that's bad. The ding came out of the box? I think if I put case on i will never notice it la... Googling around... seems the silver version can be polished off, while the black and gold can't since its PVD on the color. Another reason to consider the silver. |

Ya, I suppose you can live with it, just a little painful though |

Yeah, just need to close one eye Ya, I suppose you can live with it, just a little painful though I was looking at my phone again, if the lights doesn't hit the area or I don't look it close enough say < 2 feet, then very hard to notice it. (The band is also a freaking finger print magnet). Now... my case better arrive today >_<. Then need to DIY the original "screen protector" until my RhinoShield TG arrives. |

iPhone Xs Max Review is here...
https://m.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_xs_max-review-1829.php The battery endurance looks disappointing though, less than iPhone 8 Plus' endurance rating of 81h. This post has been edited by attw: Oct 2 2018, 08:14 AM |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Oct 2 2018, 07:04 AM) Yeah, just need to close one eye Agreed. You can easily missalign when inserting the sim eject needle. Have to be very careful when removing sim card tray. The rear back glass and the side are finger print magnets as per all iPhones but is it me that the IPhone X, XS Max is one of the worse?I was looking at my phone again, if the lights doesn't hit the area or I don't look it close enough say < 2 feet, then very hard to notice it. I will be ordering the RhinoShield Mod NX eventually π the band area is colored so it will be covered. QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 2 2018, 08:03 AM) Agreed. Coming from aluminum body iPhone, this steel and glass finish is one heck of finger print magnet. It looks posh but... finger print magnet π

I slapped a matte sticker on the back of my iPhone X back then coz I couldn't stand the amount of fingerprint it was picking up, heh heh... Anyways, once you have a case, it'll be less of a bother.Coming from aluminum body iPhone, this steel and glass finish is one heck of finger print magnet. It looks posh but... finger print magnet π |
