Yes. Its called Lingual Braces. But it's extremely expensive. 10 to 15k. No joke.

The screws were recommended by our doctor because we have gummy smile. Meaning showing a lot of our gum. The purpose of the screws are to work as a hook to pull back the gum using rubber band. The screws are to be installed at the root of your gum. That area where its close to your nose.

*taking deep breath* I'm one of them that needed the screws and my appt is today...gosh...

Yah, today.... Extraction and screws i guess... I will remember to stuff myself full with food b4 going. Then after that when i smile, the big gap will shows?

I already have my power chain on wor... It's a 4-hole power chain. So meaning if i were to close gaps relying on power chain, it will be..... 8-hole power chain? wor....scary looking one.
But honestly, power chain is damn good. It really helps moving the teeth faster.

when u have the power chain on, u feel damn tight. But it's a very hard working chain. it moves ur teeth fast...

Girls, you know what? I started to get very irritated when outside ppl ask me whether its painful wearing braces. I dunno why... Maybe they dont understand. But seriously, its annoying. Of course its painful, of course its uncomfortable. But you'll get use to it. And after 2 weeks, you dont feel anything, anymore. Really... Whether can you eat properly... Duh, find your comfortable way to eat or just starve to death. then after hearing my experience, suddenly they say they wanna have braces also.

Sorry if i offended anyone here. I dont meant it for anyone here... Just some feelings towards ppl outside.... sigh...

I was suppose to go for extraction on wednesday night. The nurse postponed me to thursday cos i was late and Dr. Has to leave early...

So today i went during lunch time. To extract 2 teeth, to install 2 screws and a vein to be laser off. I barely feel any pain during the whole thing because of the injection. It wasn't that bad... That's wat i tot. But just when i walked out from the clinic...

I started to feel the pain. then i rushed home. It was a tiring day. Having my blood coming out non stop and worried about work.

For those who worried about pain. It was however ok for me. I didnt take the pain killer that the nurse gave. Next round i will ask them not to give me. Cos i have plenty of them now.

Alrighty, thats all for the day...

Well, leng leng.... whatever white tulip mentioned are almost like my experience too.

I eat noodles most of the time. If you feel like eating rice, u can... IF u eat with soup, would be much easier. Fish is good choice. Cos it's softer compared to chicken and meat. So far right now, i feel it a bit difficult to eat salads with crunchy greens. Unless cut it into smaller pieces.

Dont worry, my dear. Just bear with the numbness this few days, eat tofu, noodles, porridge, or bread dipped in milo... Only for few days, the following week, u'll feel much better and slowly will eat other food.

Having to bring toothbrush, toothpaste, dental wax, mirror, toothpicks and floss with you will be part of your habit from now on. Dont be ashamed to brush teeth when u work. Your colleague should understand. Think, having food stucked on your teeth is not a pleasant sight to look at. So just practice new habit lo.

I remember that White tulip was facing a bit problem with her brackets last month. Now, i'm glad that she's now able to eat more food already. Bravo!!!

I didnt even take the pain killer. Same like u, i only get numbness and tired gum feeling only. Then after 3 weeks, i basically more or less eat like a normal person. One week already i ate KFC. My bf also when he sees me eating burger and kfc. He asked me whether i really have braces on...

Dont worry... even if it doesnt move, next month your doctor will find solution for you. Everyone's condition are different. My teeth didnt move in first month also. But 2nd month got drastic changes. Dont rush ok? Sometimes, some teeth are just stubborn. U know, it has only been 4 months for me with braces, but my teeth are 90% aligned already. And my condition were very bad in my case.

Then recently i extracted two teeth, it gives space to push the protruding ones in. Trust me, the whole process of watching ur teeth moving slowly without u noticing is really fun. Some of my teeth got positioned within 2-3 days. It's amazing.... Just dont forget to take pictures for comparison purpose ya? Then u will see it urself the improvements.

U know? Even my face shape also changed already. I used to have rounder face. Now i dont have the round mooncake face already. Side profile also improving. I really love the changes... My cousin envy me very much to have the courage to wear braces. Cos we all have genes for ugly teeth.

I totally agree with on that...hahaha... i love my braces too. I spent more time looking at myself in the mirror now, checcking my teeth, my smile, the alignement and all...ehehehe...self-obsessed.

After having braces, many people told me that they feel like having it too. And 2 of my bf's friends said they love looking at girls with braces. So cute right?

It's even cuter when you whistle sometimes when u speak...hehehe... But now i dont whistle anymore...hahahha...

I got my Inovation Ceramic at How's orthodondics on Oct 08 at 6k. That excluding x-ray, moulding, extraction and medications.
But just 2 months later, White tulip got hers from the same clinic at 6.5k. I guess the price increased? Why not u try calling How's orthodontic and see how much is it now? How's orthodontic - 03-2284 5529

My next appt will be on coming Tuesday to do my second extraction. Cant wait to see my teeth moving to better improvements.

Regarding about how they quote? I also not sure... Maybe my condition is too challenging and doctor decided to give me discount so that he can 'experiment' on me?

I think i suffer the same thing too. Look like a tiny ulcer or irritated skin in your mouth surface that is near to ur brackets?
I have the same thing too. I realize i had it since my lower jaw slowly moved to aligned. Cos i havent extract my lower jaw. My lower jaw are more or less aligned now eventhough not enough space. It so cos my lower teeth were being pushed outwards to be aligned. Once extraction been done, everything will be push inward again. By then, i guess wont have that kind of problem anymore.

My extraction for lower jaw is tomorrow...
