haha, yeah! so you know, it was crazy during reading..
as far as my progress is concerned, im having an elastic for my side tooth to come out. and according to Dr Raymond, my next appointment, the elastic can be taken off and he will use some sort of wire to make my alignment stays firm. not sure what kind of wire that is.

anyway, nikki, does the doctor said when can you debrace?

Dr din say anything abt debrace yet. Dr intend to bring my upper jaw further in then only will do the fine tuning.

Ya , already installed my braces today ,
but due to my bite is quite deep , only upper part has been installed today , lower part will be install by next appointment but also depends on my progress ,
after checking the result of xray , I do not have any wisdom teeth and because of my condition : I got 4 missing teeth which is 2 for upper part and another 2 for lower part ,
dentist said that I do not need to pull out any teeth ~
start counting down 2 years from today !

oh btw. how many types of braces are there ?
I saw damon and lotus.. so what's the differences ?

and.. recommend any orthodentist to me please . PJ area

one question. if the wire is out of the bracket:(, should i go to Dr How tomorrow? coz my next appointment is on 18 May, which is 11 days later.

If u go earlier, your treatment would finish faster.

Mine also dropped abt 2 weeks ago. I'll just wait until my next appt. I lazy to cos very out of the way.

mine wednesday will go to find doc..den he arrange for me..coz i need to do filling first..update ur status ya^^

i did my braces on 09.11.2010..its six month braces now..

i think filling is like tampal gigi .. like tooth tat had hole. need filing.. correct me if im wrong.

there's nothing to nervous about, Mengher..which one are you going to opt for?

just relax yourself, and open your mouth as big as you can! after that, start to have baby food, deal with the sore, and welcome to braces

oh..ic.. then i guess i am lucky because i don need to hv filling? is filling cost any?

yes...filling cost me around 6 hundred==..expensive..coz doc said dat my filling done when i was in primary school.very long dy,.and the nurse fill until very ugly.so he wanna re-do..tmr i m going to meet dr and after filling he gonna tel me when to put on brace..nervous

its a bit pricey. it din count tooth by tooth right? for the whole set of your teeth right?

i had wisdom tooth surgery before my braces also. extraction RM 80, and surgery, RM 800. but maybe he feels that im pity, and he just quoted me RM 800 instead of RM 880. and not to forget CT scan, RM 150 for that. he said im his in house patient. so he jz discounted 50% for me :'(
