I just pulled the trigger on the Msia set RM2199 on shopee. I cannot tahan my OP3 adi, camera kaput... after shake, focus abit then out of focus again. Shopee seller only got mirror black model. Even though I would have preferred the white version, I'll be slapping a case on the phone anyway. So ambik aje la.

For me, I'd prefer to stick with Oxygen OS and dash charge memang best.

Was considering Pixel 3, its camera should be a beast. But 4GB RAM, price expected to be RM4K+, warranty support meh. OP6T - don't quite like teardrop notch (prefer OP6 notch, I'm weird), no headphone jack...

These few factors shaped my decision to just go with OP6. Now the wait begins...

Update info for those interested... The seller called me to inform they now got stocks for Silk White, and called to check whether I still wanted Mirror Black or want to change to Silk White. Good customer service this seller LT Gadget thumbsup.gif

Jack, BT or Speaker? If speaker maybe you pushed the gain up too much edi, or maybe it's just compatibility issues with some other audio effects thing you installed (like Atmos or something).

No such issues TBH for me (at least from the Jack), and I have actually increased the output gain as well so if its susceptible to hissing, it should have done so already... or maybe my ears are just old lol. Also, personally I don't adjust gain much for the internal speakers, so I'm not sure on that front.

So far my only complaint about this one is that there doesn't seem to be a way to make the bottom navigation bar's background color constantly black when inside an app. I guess I'm used too used to my Nexus 6p's black bottom navigation bar.

Anyway I turned on OP6's custom gestures and so far it kind of solves the problem by hiding the bottom nav bar permanently.
*
The reason for this is to reduce screen burn in bro, hence the white and grey bottom bar when in app.

That's a poor reason I think. Black navigation bar won't burn in on AMOLED. My Nexus 6p didn't have any burn-in problems.

There is an announcement from OnePlus that from Android 9, Oxygen OS version will follow Android version.

So Android 9.0 ~ Oxygen OS 9.0

Not sure my device hardware problem or beta 4 issue... My voice message sometime got distortion and hard to listen (low volume) .. if really device hardware, warranty for import device super long. Die Liao. 😭😭😭
*
I believe it's due to hardware, and it's normal. Because I got the same issue as well, whenever I send voice recording to my friend in whatsapp, mine always has much lower audio compared to others.

My Nexus 6p did suffer burn in though, especially after about 24 months of use.

The black bar won't, but the white icons will. Also, there's such a thing as differential burn-in - where the dark/black areas burn less then the bright/white ones causing uneven brightness (and vice versa).

Not that a white bar with dark icons is gonna be much better either, burn in wise TBH. Flipping between the two on a regular schedule might actually work though - as it equalises the differential burn-in...

... but really up to a point it just becomes a hassle and you simply move to the gestures as then you'll don't have to worry about the bloody bar anymore lol.

from the jack, because whenever i listen to say youtube, the volume would start low then to the normal loudness, when the volume is still low, i would hear the hissing sound. when the sound gets to the normal loudness, i guess the hissing sound sorta gets covered by the songs, just a bit annoyed. does not happen when im not using V4A, i even tried lowering the gain, but the hissing sound is still there

Hmm, maybe the headphones you're using? I haven't had any hissing issues from the Jack so far... but the only setting I have on with V4A is increased output gain and Spectrum Extension.

Also, like I said before, are you running V4A alone or with one of the other Mods like Atmos or Ainur or the Stereo Mod? Not configured properly, some of them can also cause issues with V4A (well, supposedly anyway), unless you also run AML (Audio Mod Library) through Magisk.

"Supposedly" because I only have the Stereo Mod (AML version) installed myself, and as. such I'm not exactly sure about the others.

any one using apps to check their battery capacity? I just started using AccuBattery yesterday to check how much of my battery degraded, shows my battery now only 78% capacity, only 2558mAh/3300mAh. Been using OP6 since launch day in May, degrade a bit too fast no? :/

p/s: I only charge the device twice after downloading the app, both times charge from about 50%++ to full 100%
