hello there, will i get the regualr update from Oneplus if i buy the AP set A6000 which flash to so-call global rom by local sellers like Woo Phone, G Store or T&L telecom ?
*
As long as they already flashed it to OOS (China uses HOS), you're golden. Heck, if it comes with HOS you can even flash it to OOS yourself and you're still fine for updates.

Or you know, you can be wierd like me and choose to be frozen in Oreo lol.

As for Note 9 vs OP6, value wise TBH the N9 is subtly encroaching into the value space of OP for sure, but not everyone wants a Note (and the Samsung Experience that comes with it).

Though at the current rate of depreciation it's going through, the Note 9 is undoubtedly a pretty good deal for what you're getting (and will actually get better value wise as the prices tumble pun lol). Unless, you want 8GB RAM ler (which only comes in the 512GB N9 that costs substantially more).

And LDAC, if you have a Sony LDAC capable headphone (or the Fiio BTR3), it should automatically select that if you have it so why the need for a manual override?

Yes, though I am a Oneplus fan, but seeing the price point of the Note 9 vs the OP6 now, I would still go for the Note 9. Its time for Oneplus to seriously consider revising their prices to be competitive.

I don't think the issue is so much about the entry price, but rather the rapid decline the moment you get an O+.

Let's hope the O+6 will be priced appropriately.

Not even AptX or AAC? Yeah in this case selecting LDAC in Dev Options will probably make it first choice in line. I know in the BTR3 you need to set it to LDAC first though, maybe it's that?

Damn, stuff must sound great with LDAC. I don't even have an AptX HD capable buds yet lol and barebones AptX does have a slight tendency to compress things to the treble end, as good as it is already VS SBC.

That price point good deal. I using baozu car charger but got some issued with my op6. Most of the time charged till 84 % then will auto discharged even tho the charging logo still there...but still I using it due to convenient having 2 port and cheaper option.

Hmm, haven't had that happen to mine yet TBH. Yet.

Hopefully once my Baozu starts being funky, clement5949 already has his little venture set up so I'll know where to go for a replacement, considering I can't get a new Baozu even if I wanted to now that they're out of stock.

I just pulled the trigger on the Msia set RM2199 on shopee. I cannot tahan my OP3 adi, camera kaput... after shake, focus abit then out of focus again. Shopee seller only got mirror black model. Even though I would have preferred the white version, I'll be slapping a case on the phone anyway. So ambik aje la.

For me, I'd prefer to stick with Oxygen OS and dash charge memang best.

Was considering Pixel 3, its camera should be a beast. But 4GB RAM, price expected to be RM4K+, warranty support meh. OP6T - don't quite like teardrop notch (prefer OP6 notch, I'm weird), no headphone jack...

These few factors shaped my decision to just go with OP6. Now the wait begins...
