After you have logged into that old website, go to your account and click the rewards tab on the left.

hi there, currently thinking on applying this card, but have some questions unclear in mind, please help on the questions below, i'll be really appreciate your kindness help:

1) 2 cards mean both cards spending will be accumulated under one total counting is it?

2) the annual fee for both cards are totally waived for life time? or is it conditionally waived? or maybe for a card..?

3) does the 5% weekend cash back include with the petrol charges? Means if i refill RM50 petrol on weekend, does it offer a Rm2.50 discount on the bill?

4) does the 5% weekend cash back include utilities payment? which means the TNB, Unifi, Telco charges?

5) let say if i purchase an iphone from switch with monthly installments up to 24 months, and does the monthly installments consider as monthly minimum expenses? If I clear the payment by weekend, any chance to have 5% weekend rebate on the monthly installments?

6) If i have on-going car loan, is it possible to switch the payment of the loan to the payment of this credit card, and at the same time to get the 5% weekend cash back?

thanks for the help
hope my questions doesnt sound stupid, im new to credit card

1) Yes but only the AMEX will give you cashback.
2) No annual fee at all. You'll have to pay both card's SST though = RM50 / year.
3) Cashback is available for petrol but no discount. The 5% cashback will be credited into your AMEX statement on the 2nd of the following month.
4) No cashback for utilities.
5) No, Maybank will take the whole amount for cashback calculation. If you made the purchase on weekend, that'll be 5% * the lump-sum price of the phone capped at RM50. If it's on weekdays, you'll only get TP instead.
6) Not possible AFAIK.

Hi, sifus here.
Regarding the latest benefit revision on Boost Topup,
Will I still get the 5% CB on the following month if I reload my Boost wallet before 8th July?

5) Actually iirc ezpay earns 0 TP. You might not even earn cashback anymore. Have to double check

No one can tell you for sure. We can only guess that any top-up to eWallets before that "should" be valid case to get CB but only Maybank knows for sure.

Gotta admit that I'm not 100% sure on all these terms used for 0% installment plans. My answer was based on my last transaction on Lazada in which I used FCB & received CB. I stand corrected if my answer was incorrect notworthy.gif

1. Maybank yes, your spending on each individual cards will appear individually, but share a combine credit limit.

2. Maybank 2 cards ANNUAL FEE is free for life. SST RM25/card/year. Compulsory to pay or offset by T points.

3. 5% include petrol. Refill RM50 on weekend, you still pay RM50, rebate of card RM2.50 comes later on following month.

4. Utilities : TNB / Water - no cb. NON-utilities : Unifi, telco got cash back.

5. Purchase iphone with installment, will base on your 1st transaction date and rewards/point given base on your 1 swipe date. If you swipe RM5000 on weekend, you get RM50 cb(5% cap RM50), if you swipe on weekdays, you get 5000x5 tp. No rewards will be given after that for installment plan, e.g. you pay RM416 every month, no rewards.

6. There is no car/house loan than can be paid by credit card so far in Malaysia. Let us know if u find one.

Just do it and you will get the answer on 2-8-2019.

IMO, not 100% safe on weekend CB (performed on 6/7 and 7/7) but almost 100% safe on weekday Treatpoints (performed on 1/7-5/7)
