Like I promised, pics from my visit to DreamWerkz...
Took the bus from my hostel to Komtar, then went to CCI for a while. Then walked to Dreamwerksz..I thought it was nearby but heck, it was super far. Had to call Stinky Primo so many times to confirm the location(pity him, I can hear him panting from exhaustion..he was cycling).
Searched for that shop for almost 2 hours underthe scorching sun. In the end I found it. Expected it to be a non-aircon shop, with frames hanging from above, but I was very wrong. It was a very nice shop at the corner of some street I forgot its name.
Faizal was there to greet me. A very warm greeting. Then i met the author of mtb-extreme's blog, Muhammad(not sure if I spelt his name correct.). He was a very friendy guy..lots of jokes, and he even offered to send me back! Haha.. But I stayled on longer to take more photos. Spent alomst an hour there.
At the end of the trip, Faizal gave me a sticker for the Penang International MTB Challenge(about 1ft long!) and a few pieces of Dreamwerkz's stickers, which were super thick and tough(high quality).
As you can see from the pics, there's a blue color bike. It comes with a rigid fork(u can rder a suspension) and the frame can be custom made. Carbon fibre with aluminum joints. Weight? Very light, stiff and super powerful...
And the green bike is the Pipedream Torero.. Equiped with all the top end parts..
Shop is not big..more like a showcase, but it's really cozy in there.
They also provide recon service for frames, forks and any parts. Like respraying etc... One of the pics you can see them working of a orange Kona.
