My suggestion, get the x7 shifter n rd. use back ur old cassette. done! biggrin.gif but if u got lots of cash to spend then might as well buy te whole groupie.

Nah...not really...the only different between Shimano n SRAM is thumb n finger shifting.

Shimano XT trigger shifter - Push thumb to 32T / Pull finger to 11T
SRAM X.7 trigger shifter - Push thumb to 32T / Push thumb to 11T

If u use the XT shifter ur thumb n finger will be on the shifter pod but ur finger also needs to be on ur brake lever as well. If you use the X.7 shifter pod ur thumb will be doin all the shifthing up n down n u can safely use ur fingers on the brake lever whole time.

Both Shimano n Sram are good products it just that you have to get use of it. I know that SRAM shiftinng are more precise.

yeah..i was thinkin about FRIM as well..we can do the dreamtrail > steriod > manggo (optional?) > sg.buloh...all in all around 4hrs plus?

Place : FRIM (front gate)
Date : 10th June 2007
Time : 0800hrs
Trail : Dreamtrail > Steriod Hill > Manggo (optional) > Sg.Buloh
