Btw bro, how's ram management with 6gb ram?
If you open like 5 apps and go back to first one, does it reload or resume?
Since miui ram management usually aggresive

Tried the pocophone at 1U mi store. The phone is fast, but animations felt rush like on fast fwd. Cant really feel the weight and build properly as the phone is tied to the cable. The screen edges below is too curved for my liking, and not the same with the top edges which kind of bothered me. Poco owners, does that bother you guys or grown to live with it after some time with the phone already?

With AI looks nicer. Wonder if this on par with Mi8 or less.

Here's my first impressions after playing around with my unit for an hour
- The back material is the same as what they used for the Redmi Note 2 and feels not as nice as the one used on past Lumia phones
- Still, the built quality is good imo. Phone is solid, nothing rattles or creaks, buttons are clicky
- Screen in Standard mode has quite accurate colors. The glass itself has oleophobic coating. Notch is too big imo, no notification icons can be seen, also no space for battery percentage due to the notch.
- Speakers are loud
- Animations look as if on fast forward, kinda like what OnePlus does to their phones
- Apps open near instantly, even when not in RAM
- The back is cool to the touch even when downloading and installing a lot of apps

Unfortunately no, haven't tried yet. For the back camera, a Mi A1 using Google Camera (HDR+ Enhanced) takes a better picture indoors.

But GoogCam has better cloud computations TBH (for HDR+ anyway), though for raw performance (sans HDR) I think stock or Qualcam would probably work better.

INB4 OP users jelly you guys get easy GoogCam integration when they have to play around with rooted apps and magisk modules (me included lar lol).

- i have used RN2. for me it's ok
- for screen i usually will change setting to warm mode.
- i like battery %. so no space for battery % is a minus point for me. not that i can't live without it.
- animations i'll just on developer mode and disable all animations. then on show touches.
- the heat will be tested during gaming for sure. bet screen will be quite hot since the heat pipe are channelled to the place below battery.

Just a couple of things which I found kinda funny, which happened at this morning Mid Valley's launch event. They opened their shop right by the side of Oppo and the host/MC accidentally welcomed(she shouted it out loud on the mic) us to the launch of 'Oppo F1' by mistake, she immediately apologised for it and quickly corrected herself. She also mentioned that the first guy in the queue wearing a bright orange hoodie has actually been there since yesterday night at 8 o'clock in the evening(which probably also meant that he probably ignored the guards when they were chasing him out during closing hours, #THUGLIFE rclxms.gif doh.gif ). I started queueing around 9A.M. and I am like the 36th of 37th in line when I counted.

Random facts aside, here are a couple of questions for those who have got the phone their hands already. Can you figure out how to enable showing battery percentage on the status bar up top? I tried finding it out on Google and it's probably still too new that no such thing is being mentioned in any articles. Have you guys tried out any versions of the ported Google Camera app on this phone? I couldn't get it to work with a few latest versions which I could find, they were all crashing despite being mentioned that it should work in here(XDA's article).

Also, I only found out that this phone does not have NFC after buying it. doh.gif

IIRC xda said that Camera2 API is already enabled so the Gcam port should work, not that it will work
