Can confirm the OP6 has 4G+... for more than RM1k extra. Depends if you think it's worth that much for 4G+ speeds lol (well, amongst other things).

Also the Zenphone 5Z for just a little bit more, but I don't actually have one of those so I'm only working off paper specs. Plus maybe the Honor/Huaweis around that price range, but I'm not entirely sure they have 4G+.

But keep in mind all these other options are either more exp then the Poco Loco, or come with lesser specs. So you're gonna have to figure out if 4G+ is worth it.

- Dual GPS vs normal GPS (Not really sure how good is Dual GPS on Mi8)

- No cooling system vs water cooling

*
1. A lot of Mi 8 users, myself included, are complaining about GPS issues. So dual GPS is not better if it doesn't even work.

2. Water cooling - From the benchmarks available online, POCO F1 is not really all that faster than Mi 8. Thoughts?

I thought their slogan is "Let everyone enjoy the fun of technology!" - translate from Mandarin

I guess for Mi8 users, it is quite a pain to admit and find ways to justify the higher price to pay for a so called "flagship" when Poco does not differ that much while providing much better value with some practical upgrades like battery life.

Well, it's cheap for a reason. That said, it's still bloody cheap regardless lol.

How do they do it? Easy, Xiaomi is a bloody corporate giant. Even is they sell the Poco with very little profit (or even at a loss), they're more then rich enough to take that hit (hell, they have various other stuff to sell that DO make money) - and in turn grind other companies unable to match their cash flow prowess to the ground.

What's worrying if this assumption IS true, is that subsequent Poco phones aren't gonna be as cheap any more and - once their key rivals are all in the kubur or close to it - prices will start going up ala OnePlus as they slowly try to make up for the initial low profit margins.

Though the good thing is usually when that happens, some other upstart will probably show up with a "Flagship Killer's Killer's Killer", and the cycle continues all over again - meaning that this entire shebang is of no real loss to us anyway lolz.

Those anti miui one ah, what are the reasons they hate miui?

I really considering go back to Xiaomi, but so many ppl hate miui, I'm concerned. Frankly, last time when I use Xiaomi, it started to lag after awhile. But that was the original redmi phone, and it was dirt cheap..

I am a EMUI user and I'm fine with it.

I have yet to test playing game with it. So far no stuttering or lag. Just that sometimes I clicked the notification, it takes quite few seconds to open the app. This is not PocoPhone problem, happened to my Note9 and Key2 too. Wondering what cause it

If UI, I hate ColorOS the most, second is EMUI. Never tried Asus UI (dont know what it called) yet. I assume it's same with EMUI?
MIUI is almost perfect, I cant manually change the smallest width (dp) in developer options. Else perfect for me.

those so called android "purist" will always hate custom skin.

im also one of those during the early years.

now i feel miui is more polished, and im fine with it.

with today hardware, lag never an issue, that plague miui in the early days.

ColorOS is a total bullshit. UI like for standard 3 kids to use.
OPPO and Vivo should just go bankrupt.
Spamming the market with phones.
OPPO Realme? WTF is this shit. Released Realme 1 and then Realme 2 within 3 months.

wow, it's quite good for the camera department, wonder how well it performs on other aspects such as the stereo speakers and screen, wireless and line reception?

Told that in Oppo Find X thread, die2 said ColorOS is okay and same like other UIs. laugh.gif

I bought Find X, cant tahan their ColorOS while the build quality and design are very premium. So I sold mine after 10 days.

MIUI is getting better and better. I like it even I dont have a problem with china set UI. Also dont have problem with JOYUI in Black Shark.
