Can anyone help to test whether Pocophone support 4G+ in Malaysia? Celcom, Maxis, Digi or Umobile..
There's a heated debate bout this in FB..

But color coding and auto categorization of apps are actually quite interesting TBH.

I'm too much in love with Nova now though lol, even if I have to manually catagorize every freakin thing every time I install something lol.

Oh mai. Maybe it will be unlocked in a future OTA? Or maybe it's just a band thing and it might be okay on other carriers like Maxis or Digi?

So then guest no 4g + support huh...same like any other xiaomi phone...yet again at that price cant complain much.

Just got Mi8 during the launch. Already aware of POCO but didnt expect it to come so soon.

the release of Mi A2, Mi8 and POCO are too close from each other. EIN might suffer if they overbook the devices but who cares.

Since i got my Mi8, no point turning back la.

The only different between Mi8 and POCO i see are :
- AMOLED vs IPS screen (doesnt matter for me either but AMOLED much brighter la)
- 3600mAH vs 4000mAH (POCO won this part, just cannot brain why Mi8 dont put 4000mAH like RN5)
- 1899 vs 1429 (POCO cheaper)
- Dual GPS vs normal GPS (Not really sure how good is Dual GPS on Mi8)
-Steel back cover vs plastic cover. (not sure)
- No cooling system vs water cooling

Anyway, i managed to get the Amazfit BIP when purchase Mi8 la. The price was RM279.

So the phone is RM1620 + amazfit RM279 = RM1899

So my phone price and the POCO is difference by RM191 only, not so hurt la unless i don get the amazfit bip. LOL. I got AMOLED Screen and Steel back cover except the battery capacity and the water cooling. I guess steel back cover could dissipate the heat as efficient as water cooling thingy.

Anyway, my next phone would be 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM/512GB ROM in couple of years...

Used to have GPS prob which my Google map and waze dont work.. After reboot the Mi8, the problem gone.

got it with everything me, smart launcher and Microsoft launcher..

all 3 there is way better and almost every way than this poco..
even my not tech savy wife love it ( asked me to install it back when i change phone for her )
vs stock huawei and samsung launcher.

zeliustitan There's no steel back cover for Mi 8, water cooling heat-pipe is a gimmick marketing & GPS issue is related to MIUI 9 because MIUI 10 don't have this issue.

FYI, Mi 8 come with 3400 mAh & 4000 mAh is thicker so Mi 8 didn't use it.
