Eligibility
2. The Campaign is open exclusively to New-To-Bank Public Bank / Public Islamic Bank (PB/PIB) Principal Credit Cardmembers through Direct Sales and Telemarketing channel during the campaign period. (“Eligible Cardmembers”).
3. The following persons are excluded from participating in this campaign: -
3.1 Existing Public Bank / Public Islamic Bank Principal Credit Cardmember;
3.2 Former Public Bank Principal Credit Cardmembers who have cancelled his/her PB Credit Card within two (2) year from the date of current application;
3.3 Mutual Gold – PB Visa Platinum Credit Cardmembers;
3.4 Employees of the Public Bank Group, its advertising agencies, their immediate families or any other persons connected with the administration of the Campaign;
3.5 Any person applied via other channels than Direct Sales and Telemarketing channels
4. Eligible Cardmembers who applied for a PB/PIB Credit Card via this “Direct Sales and Telemarketing Channels Acquisition Campaign – Enjoy RM100 Cash Rebate” will not be eligible for other PB/PIB Credit Card Acquisition Offers.
Participation Criteria
5. The Eligible Cardmembers must follow these steps during the Campaign period :-
5.1 Apply PB/PIB Credit Card except Mutual Gold – PB Visa Platinum Credit Card through Direct Sales and Telemarketing channel and get the card approved within the Campaign period.
5.2 The Eligible Cardmember must make an accumulative retail purchase of RM200 on his/her newly approved credit card within 60 days from card approved date.
5.3 For the purpose of this Campaign, “retail transaction” means the purchase of any goods or services (local and overseas) with the use of the PB Credit Card and may, at Public Bank’s discretion, include any PB Credit Card transaction as may be determined by Public Bank except for the following transactions but not limited to:
a) “Flexipay” AND “Zero Interest Instalment Plan” monthly instalment payment.
b) Balance Transfer
c) Auto-Debit & Recurring Payments
d) Payments for utilities, direct marketing, insurance premiums, government related payments or payment via www.pbebank.com
e) Any refund, disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent retail transaction
f) Cash Advance / Cash Withdrawal, quasi cash, casino transactions, interest payments, late payment fees, finance charges, annual fees, reversals, payment to charity(ies), and any other form of service / miscellaneous fees.
Campaign Gift – RM100 Cash Rebate
6. Each Eligible Cardmember is only entitled to one time of RM100 Cash Rebate throughout the campaign.
7. The Cash Rebate payment will be credited into the Eligible Cardmember’s principal credit card account registered under this Promotion within 4 - 8 weeks after the end of each tracking month and shall be reflected in the Eligible Cardmember’s credit card statement.
8. If there is any dispute or non-receipt of the Cash Rebate, the Eligible Cardmember is required to contact PB Card Customer Service (03-2176 8000) by 30 April 2019 at the latest to request an inquiry. No request for any inquiry will be entertained after 30 April 2019.
9. An Eligible Cardmember whose card account(s) has been suspended, cancelled or terminated during the Campaign period will not be entitled to RM100 Cash Rebate.
10. The Cash Rebate payment is non-transferable to any 3rd party and is non-exchangeable for up-front cash or kind.
11. The Bank’s records of the application and approval dates will be final and conclusive.
12. General Terms and Conditions
12.1 The Bank reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add on to these Terms and Conditions from time to time without any prior notice.
12.2 By participating in this Campaign, the Eligible Cardmember:
a) shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions stated herein. The decision of the Bank shall be final, binding and conclusive. No correspondence, disputes and appeals will be entertained;
b) agrees and consents that information regarding his/her can be processed, collected, used and stored by the Bank for the purpose of this Campaign;
c) agrees that the decision of the Bank will be final, binding and conclusive and that no appeal, correspondence, queries or protests will be entertained; and
12.3 The Bank reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Campaign. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation or suspension by the Bank of the Campaign shall not entitle the Eligible Cardmember to any claim or compensation against the Bank for any and all loss or damage suffered or incurred by the Eligible Cardmember as a direct and indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
12.4 The Bank shall not be liable, whether direct or consequential, for any loss and damage or whatsoever suffered by the Eligible Cardmember caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from his/her participation in the Campaign as a result of any act or omission on the part of the Bank.
12.5 The Terms and Conditions herein are in addition to and without prejudice to the Terms and Conditions stated in the Cardmember Agreement applicable to the Eligible Cardmember’s Card Account. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the said Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail in so far as they apply to the “Direct Sales and Telemarketing Channels Acquisition Campaign– Enjoy RM100 Cash Rebate”.
12.6 In the event of a conflict, discrepancy or variance in the terms and conditions in the English Language version and Bahasa Malaysia version, the terms and conditions of the English Language version shall prevail.
