I've applied for PBB quantum cc two weeks back by sending application directly to their email but then found out public bank has rejected my application when I called cs to check last week.
Then I reapplied thru ringgitplus but with similar documentations, submitted on last Tuesday. How long does it usually takes to accept/reject ones application ? And what are the probability of me getting rejected again? Lol really wish to get the card.

P/S: I've fulfilled the annual income requirement to own the card.

I'm not quite well aware of these kinds of "hidden rules" setup by banks, just wanted to get the card though haha. I just called cs earlier and stated my application is currently "pending for documentation", what does this mean? Does it means they are processing my application since I did sent in the necessary documents when I applied?

That's a big contrast compared to MBB which only took less than a week for me to get my cards.

PBB CS so busy these few days, call multiple times all unavailable.

Quite a funny case for me. I've applied for Quantum cards by directly email to cardsmarketing@publicbank.com.my back in July. 2 weeks later the CS notified me its declined by PB.
Then I applied through Ringgitplus again within the same week after being rejected. Towards the end of August, CS contacted me for additional document i.e. payslip. After a week or so I check with the IVR, it informed my application was unsuccessful again lol.
Then I written a lengthy email to them for appeal, on MOnday. This morning received call from PB asking which branch would I like to collect my credit card as my application was finally successful. I was in doubt for a moment when I received the call lol, since I did not expect the appeal to work, I even double confirm with the CS haha.
Time to plan for fully utilize my future cards

I see, just all the hassles to finally approve my application was funny to me though. Could've just let me thru at the first try, since I did not provide anymore additional doc after the payslip. Either way, finally got the card i was looking for.

Guess it worked this time. Good for me.

Couldn' find my answer in this thread. So here's my question:

Will I get cashback under departmental cat. by swiping QV in Aeon to buy an iPhone?
As I remember they do sell mobile phones and electronic gadgets in some Aeon mall, marketed by SNS network. Want to utilize the cashback for this card for my purchase.

THanks for reply, may I know what's the difference between Aeon Departmental vs Aeon SMKT? In particular, what kind of purchase would generate those respective receipts?

I suppose SMKT = Supermarket?

So there're 3 types of terminal in AEON:
Departmental, SUpermaket and Wellness. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I see, so it's the AEON wet market where it sells the crops and groceries. So I guess purchasing mobile phone would fall under departmental category. Thanks sifu

Not sure if this info regarding SST will be removed by mods, but here it goes:

Apparently, NO SST will be imposed on non activated cards until you activates it. Double confirmed with CS this morning.

Posted this few pages back before. This was the respond I got from the CS. Maybe only applicable for newly approved cards?

How long did it takes for them to notify/contact you for rewards after you fulfilled the RM150 swipes criteria?

Did you received your rewards for spending RM150 per card on BigPay reloads? The reason I asked because I am uncertain if BigPay reloads are considered as quasi-cash as the TnC stated its not eligible.
