im getting a speed boost by enabling ipv6 getting up to 650mbps, but the cpu load is always at 100%, so i expect the modem to crash at some point soon. im on eu firmware now.

My unifi bills back to same amounts as with gst. 6% ST

Is it a requirement to enable ipv6 for turbo-boost? I used to use it, but some webpage return unavailable. Ipv4 no problem at all. Using the Cloudflare DNS.

QOS disabled, Nat boost enabled. but its a rubbish router, i have a mi 3g flashed to padavan, gonna do a speed test on it later.

What is the upload speed for 800Mbps? According to SoyaCincau it should be at 200Mbps but I am not going pass 100Mbps. Possible of mistakenly capping my upload? 
No QOS or anything and tried restarted. If download can do it, why not upload?

yeah, and actual early birds paid RM199 for 5Mbps years back.
early birds paid RM149 for 10Mbps Unifi Lite.
early birds paid RM160 for 8Mbps Streamyx.

but there's always a chance in the future.
maybe not now, but though TM's unfair pricing is known,
there's always promo/bonanza/etc. throughout the year.

not sure how it's going to be next year though,
but with Maxis coming into the game and probably TIME or other players
lurking around the corner, suck it up and wait for the tide to calm down a bit.

Tm website admin accidentally updated the title (the words u see on the tab of yr browser) of the page early. The title is:

Yeah, same here. I am paying RM259 monthly for 100Mbps + Ultimate Pack.

Anyway, I am turbo-ed already. Did some tests and trying to achieve the 800Mbps but all tests return negative. I am posting this here to educate some of the users on how to properly check.

Please bear in mind, current router that I am using is ASUS RT-AC68U which has the capabilities of supporting 800Mbps on LAN. Wifi should be maxed out at 500Mbps realistically and 1300Mbps theoretically. I am sitting 1 meter away from the router and of course there are obstructions like my TV and so on. Hence, the degraded WIFI signal. What fascinates me is the LAN speed. I can deduce that all cables that I have might not be good enough or it was done/crimped poorly. And I can also deduce that my laptop WIFI adapter can only support 2x2 MIMO.

Going to conduct some further tests once I get my CAT6 cable.

But, it is exactly as the rhombuscake (managed to check before tm sorta killed off its functionality since it's a 3rd party site) website said.. this particular account will be upgraded first.

Probably gonna login with that account here and see if I can get the turbo speed since the address is still at the same building. I recall doing something similar last time at another address where the house had 2 unifi accounts, one is VIP20 one is VIP5. I logged in to the VIP5 router using the VIP20 credentials (which was connected to the VIP5 btu of course) and got 20Mbps on speedtest.

guys, got one noob question

can i make the two band wifi ( 2.4ghz & 5ghz) into same SSID with same PW on DIR850L? will the device auto choose the best signal between these two band ? i find so frustrated when i get week signal on 5ghz and i need to manually switch to 2.4ghz myself everytime. is that possible ?

Not sure with DIR850L but I’m doing this currently on my Asus and it works.
