Unusual TM works outside my house, perhaps good news coming?

Recently really felt that speed was inconsistent and a bit unstable, however this side is not affect me as passing thru my house first before this side.. NASIB BAIK!!

Recently unifi charge me RM200 for downgrade fee which I was not aware of. After complain thru live chat yesterday. Their staff assist me to abolish the fee. Then today receive SMS that TM will rebate the RM200 fee.  happy that their customer service seems to improve nowadays.

I apologise for the wrong information, and I was corrected by some members here. You won’t get the max 500Mbps speed with USB2.0, which will max at 480Mbps, but even on wireless, you will find it hard to reach 300-400Mbps, so USB2.0 is still okay for use.

Well, Unifi, mobile all got charged SST till March 2015 which was the pre-GST period. If we all don't want to change. We shall vote for another change next election.

my area only me using 5ghz... all using 2.4ghz.... but based on reading, it show the correct speed... need to find 4x4 router so to optimize tplink mimo adapter...my router only 3x3... factoring PHY, MAC and so on, it will be around 50% only from max throughput...

Where can I check the available Unifi packages for subscription? Heard that RM79 is now available, but couldnt find more info

it is connected with wired connection cat5e cable from lower floor DIR850L to top DIR850L

However. I tried the speed test with lower floor DIR850L using LAN cable this is the result

1. via NVidia shield - 800mpbs
2. via laptop - 350 mbps

i wonder why there is difference result between these two?

wanna clarify regarding DIR-850L, with the theoretical 300mbps wifi speed and my intel 8265 wifi card, connected on 5hz wifi and closed proximity(laptop and router) .

I did a few tests using tm speedtest, on a 300mbps account, the speed i get is around DL 233mbps and UL 53mbps , is this speed considered acceptable?

anyone manage to get higher wifi speeds with similar hardware?
