IIRC, the 'RM189' group are originally from 30Mbps right? First the thank you surprise (30 > 50Mbp), then the other promo where you have to top up RM10 to get 100Mbps?

TM needs to allow existing customer to upgrade/downgrade to this RM129 100Mbps plan without changing port !

So a few dozen pages ago mentioned unifi coming to my area, Port Dickson as early as this month or October. confirmed its FTTH which is good.
the unifi rep quoted rm139 for 30Mbps which comes with the free channels. also quoted rm199 for 50Mbps that comes with ultimate pack. could prolly cancel astro for this.

Beginning to wonder if rm199 for those is worth it... zero idea when turbo coming.

RM129 only for internet service.
Total amount will be RM159 include one hypptv package.

Agree on all points. But family say wanna cancel astro if the unifi channels are okay. they watch sports, korean drama/movies, and US drama/movies mostly.
Not very familiar with Android boxes so not considering that yet.

Their package misleading. It stated free 2x Unifi PlayTV, it doesn't mention free UnifiTV. So you still need to pay extra RM30.

How do we see the contract start date? Service Start Date? I've been using since 2015 and apparently it says 2017 as the start date. Lol

Just called the CS, the new 100mbps plan is currently only applicable for new subscribers. For existing customer, they mentioned discussion is in progress and ask me to call back next week instead.

Hi, if I subscribe to this new RM129 100Mbps plan. Can I get turbo upgrade to 800Mbps later next year? 

Not sure whether those still under contract (mostly RYE users, including me) can be switched over to the new plan.
But as we see here some out of contract users managed to switch over.

true, it seems all existing customer just have to wait for the free upgrade

many TM customers will emotional unbalance soon due new customer able to start using 100Mbos for only RM129 instead we are paying 30Mbps for 139 

Let's see what Maxis does in the coming months. It's said that they will introduce higher speed plans after launching their 100Mbps. If they really manage to introduce these speed plans then TM will face further butthurt because a lot of us still are paying premium but not getting our supposed speed upgrades.

Does this mean that we can change our current overpriced plan to the new one?

Currently 100mbps for RM189. Contract ended on Nov,2018. Thinking to change downgraded to 100mbps for RM129. 100mbps is really enough for me. No need 800mbps.

Maybe they are hoping users will switch to this new 100M plan not only because of competition from Maxis, but maybe they are having difficulties upgrading users with 10X speed? They should have never made it a 10X upgrade. At least start off with 2X or 3X and then upgrade again later.

When 10X was announced, most users were only interested in the speed even at the old price. I see now that users are interested in reduced price even if it is only 100M package which should be enough for most users. Of course heavy users will always want much higher speeds and should have packages to cater for that too.
