QUOTE(GameSky @ Oct 24 2019, 10:27 PM) Actually I got a call from TM last week, according to him TM is pulling the cable to my area now and expected to complete before end of Nov. During the call he promised to give the contact number of the person in-charge via email, but he closed the report without giving me anything... After I re-open the report twice, they finally provide the contact number and an email address for follow up. |

QUOTE(Rainings @ Oct 23 2019, 12:02 PM) I feel MCMC still the same, last time before Gobin Singh force TM to lower the price for streamyx i get the same reply, every time i ask them to lower the price for streamyx if not just deploy Fiber. Like type of letter you can believe half way only. But in the end they fking close my report again. But after i received a call from TM they only said hopefully can complete by end of this year, which i really doubt if they r really that efficient. So i request official letter from them. This is what i get. ![]() Don't take high hope unless you saw the cable. "Any delay without further notice.." BTW, that contractor also mentioned that if any customers willing to pay 10k+rm. They can setup unifi optic cable for the customers. The only terms is the nearby area must have fibre broadband coverage.

Perhaps you can investigate whether it's a nation wide project funded by MCMC or not. I guess the optic cable project funded by MCMC first. Then TM pay the loan to MCMC. Of course, TM get the money from existing streamyx customer (use that monthly subscriptions fees to park in this fiber project) It's make sense if the routing is like that lah. (I'm not so sure but sound like true.. QUOTE(yhsiau @ Nov 14 2019, 11:28 AM) BTW, that contractor also mentioned that if any customers willing to pay 10k+rm. (Since you mentioned funded by mcmc) TM claim there are 2 million of subscribers that I don't think the company don't have money to do this project. Else, those subscribers pay monthly to the "sea", but not pay to TM. Afraid they use the money to do funding of so called "5G projects".. |

Run down to mayor office/YB to support. Then forward it to local TM branch manager. If it’s is not progressing, forward to the HQ of TM in KL. Having things online is just a lazy man solution which translate to gets nothing done. Same apply if to success in business, investing and career. Go out and get the right thing done will get you reward. |

Taman I live already have Unifi! and I use Maxis Fiber because of "reasons"
I use Wireless Bridge around 5 to 6 month of use, using Maxis on existing Unifi is easy to setup without need new fiber I wonder why Unifi cannot share VLAN500, PPPoE support multiple sessions even in same machine Than I ask Maxis to move actual house, and I sold my Ubiquiti for RM530 for both end point. plus to have unlimited data and 4g backup |

Had a short chat with the contractor. They said gonna do the cabling on my street as well. Finally. Had a call with state TM as well, they said service will be ready by end of this month. Hopefully no more delay! Really thx to our ex Communication Minister, lowering internet price and bring fiber to all the house hold! ![]() |
