I was hope that TCL will improve availability (since take over last year),
but so far same as before...October/November....

Other countries, this month (May) most of new models available.

I agree. Judging from previous launch we could see the new C855 later this year.

Supose to be in range of P655 (former P635)

I saw shopee has preorder for T7B which seems cheaper than C645. Is there any difference between these 2 models?

Edit: reply from TCL official store, its a 2024 model refresh, same specs with improvement in system and screen low reflection.

weird thing is I can find & installed Sooka apps but Astro apps cannot find.. 😔

Is TCL C755 a good buy compared to sony x85L and samsung q80c?

I was quoted rm 4.5k for tcl c755 and rm4.2k for sony x85L and samsung q80c, all 65 inches.

Any sifu can help

Forget samsung. I will go either TCL C755 or X85L

C755 pros:
- more advance backlight (MiniLED)
- better SoC onboard, 3GB ram, latest google tv version

X85L pros:
- sony's image and colour processing obviously much better than TCL.
- maybe more reliable?

Hihi Sifu, I just got my TCL C645 last Friday, went into the Setting and select "Network Update" and it said my software is up-to-date (still with update date of 2023...). Just checking again if this model is for C645 (C64X) in case I blown up the entire unit if I flash a wrong one.

Updated: my current version is V8-R51MT05-LF1V597

Also curious to know if it is normal that the built in network update is not getting latest update and also the official TCL site support also has nothing to show on the software update? (I see nothing on this support page tho: https://www.tcl.com/global/en/support/model/65c645)
