This TCL malaysia seriously not serious. Their official shopee store chat person says C835 (suppose C845) going to come this year July.
I think they did not get latest information from top management.

Just placed an order yesterday for TCL 65C755 yesterday. To replace my current tv is 55" Panasonic GX800 (2019), still good until today
Initially eyeing for Sony X90L but after seeing C755 demo at the shop I have changed my mind considering the price-performance ratio.

Main highlights of C755 that concern to me
- Latest SoC (Pentonic 700) so the GUI is snappy on Android 12.
- 3GB ram, 32GB rom
- 1300nits with 500+ local dimming zones. VA panel.
- Wifi 6
- Support all major HDR formats

For new buyer don't only look for online sellers, also do survey price in the shops. For my case I've managed to get 65C755 for RM4400 only after slight bargain.
Irresistible price la.

now waiting for the delivery...they say will take 1 week hmm

Hope current C755 users can guide me any tips/tricks to make this TV better

There is a new firmware dated 16 March for C755. So far my tv stable.
Just that the TV setting popup menu (picture, sound etc) were quite laggy. More laggy during HDR playback. If I pressed that popup menu button it takes 1-2 seconds to show up

Just curious why my TV OTA stuck in old version in fact V098 already out?

Worry if this can brick the tv. How to confirm this V098 is safe for malaysian set?

No regret for the price I bought, bang for the buck.
The local dimming is good, and blooming is very very not noticeable.

Unless if I bought for >5.5K maybe I regret because for me add little more can get Sony X90L. Better processing and color
accuracy out of the box.

Cons for this C755 are software optimization (hope fixed in the latest V098, need to flash n check) and average upscaling
quality which is far from Sony and Panasonic. Below 1080P video the AIPQ 3.0 really messing the video quality.

Thank you. Btw do you have V8-T653T01-LF1V062.000491 IMG zip file? I checked through XDA also, your post is only OTA.
Just worry if anything goes wrong after update I want to downgrade to V062.

Kindly help to give IMG file for V062 or any earlier version than V098 at least for backup.

Flashed the V098 OTA over current V062. Good improvement, no more lags during Youtube 4K HDR streaming. And there are few new settings too. Notice Dolby Vision Precision Detail feature in the settings

Better go with higher nits TV to avoid glare. C755 > C645

In the TCL Malaysia website you can get the list of dealers.
Call few nearby dealers to check price. As simple as that.

I am from Seberang Prai, among few shops I called only Siang Electrical Jawi having demo unit of C755. I bought 65" C755 RM4400 from them.

Nice, probably the cheapest online deal. This price you can get from their physical store any day. Last month when I was surveying price I did also check Wah Lee physical store the price
was same as this.

Congrats. How much you paid for 75" C755 ?

Sony X90L strength are video processing (motion, colour and clarity) and overall software experience. After sale support is one topic I dont care much haha but Sony suppose better than TCL.

The rest TCL wins, especially on backlight control and nits.

Forget samsung. I will go either TCL C755 or X85L

C755 pros:
- more advance backlight (MiniLED)
- better SoC onboard, 3GB ram, latest google tv version

X85L pros:
- sony's image and colour processing obviously much better than TCL.
- maybe more reliable?
