I have a budget of 4.5k, can't decide between a 75 inch C645 or a 65 inch C755...any suggestions? Based on my living room arrangement, the viewing distance is about 2.8m-3.2m with lots of natural light from the side.

I haven't got it yet but another forummer ruzaini88 got it for 4.4k after some negotiations with the local physical shop seller. He mentioned it in his post 2 pages before this if not mistaken. He also suggested to walk into the shop and see what they can offer. I have a feeling the prices on shopee/Lazada not that cheap for big ticketed item due to the fees/commission charged by those platform Based on my observation, same seller same item, shopee more expensive than Lazada recently as well.

Nice, probably the cheapest online deal. This price you can get from their physical store any day. Last month when I was surveying price I did also check Wah Lee physical store the price was same as this. When we can expect next software release for C755?
Can their physical store price beat the additional discount offered by Lazada? I just placed an order for 75 C755
haha still got such thing. thanks for the info now i know more on it ....gg almost 4.7k for tv... gg
hmm this is a bit of of topic if the price 4.7k any different between TCL C755 vs sony x90l?
Ermm if you compare just hardware alone, the C755 supposedly is more superior than the Sony X90L QD Mini LED with more dimming zone vs FALD panel Pentonic 700 (MT9613) SoC vs MediaTek's MT5895
But subjectively speaking the Sony seems to have better software performance when it comes to image processing, upscaling etc
The video below is a good video highlighting the strength of Sony and why there were able to charge a premium price despite a slightly older hardware. The QM8 is some what similar to the C845 I think, not a director comparison but at least there's something to see.
FALD technology sounds interesting! I'll definitely watch the YouTube video you shared to learn more about it.
The price difference between the 55-inch TCL C755 and Sony X90L is pretty small. However, I've seen some comments online mentioning after-sales concerns with Sony.
Do you have any thoughts on after-sales service when comparing these two TVs?
Sorry I don't have any first hand experience with the after sales service Personally I would think Sony being the bigger and longer existing brand here would have a better after sales support network
1.What are the recommendations for 75 or 85 inch? (Sitting distance is about 4 meters) Go as big as possible as long within your budget, do take note of your room's natural brightness as well
2. Are they upcoming models coming into our market soon? timeline? There's C655 and C855 in Europe already but not sure when are they coming here Here they're still selling C645, C845 and C755 (C755 is the same as C805, different naming for different region only) Premium high end models such as C955 and X955 won't be coming i suppose
3. wait for newer model (im not in any rush)? Buy only when you need it as tech stuff are getting cheaper or better with newer models - keep track of price first, aim for major sales event on lazada/shopee
thank you for the feedback plus a great recommendations , now i got 2 models in my wishlist which is tcl c645 and hisense u7k ( both 55" , 120hz refresh rate plus hdmi 2.1 ) ..
Just so you know C645 panel is not native 120Hz As for Hisense, they always use a inferior panel for non-US market hence any great reviews u see on rtings for Hisense USA doesn't apply here
