I don't see any abuse or bullying, and the purpose of BigPayJonathan being here is exactly to obtain additional feedback. I think the only pointless blaming here is you trying to say people should follow 'your way' in terms of how to raise complaints.

The problem is the way he talk......

Just came back from Japan. Used bigpay thinking the exchange rate is equivalent to XE but got a shock this morning when the app prompted me that I have a negative balance in my account cos the settlement rate is different from the rate I saw when I use the card. The exchange rate is even higher than money changer.

When I changed cash at Midvalley the rate was 37.245  and Bigpay settlement rate is 37.37!!

Totally regretted it. Such a ripped off!

Exchange rate fluctuate overtime lo, and the diff is just 0.3 percent more.... u get the convenience, big point, credit card point ......

On the day I used the card the rate was 37.10 then when it settled today it's 37.37 wor..I of course know it flactuates but this is like 0.27 not 0.03

I checked klmoneychanger online aso highest is 37.35..the outlet in midvalley is 37.30..this is higher than money changer already no?

The transaction settled today?

If so then there is 1 percent diff to today flat rate

Coz I just check mine cny transaction settled yesterday which is roughly the same as yesterday flat rate

If you look at the Mastercard conversion rate for the month, these few days the rate is high.

For example:
9 Oct - 36.80
16 Oct - 37.18
20 Oct - 37.09
21 Oct - 37.09
22 Oct - 37.01
23 Oct - 37.16
24 Oct - 37.08
25 Oct - 37.29
26 Oct - 37.48
27 Oct - 37.48
28 Oct - 37.48
29 Oct - 37.38
30 Oct - 37.21

Today's rate on klmoneychanger.com, lowest is 37.30, highest is 37.50.

It all depends on your luck when the purchase is settled. That is how it works. We just hope that the payment is settled on the day when the rate drops. For example, if you have made purchases on the 27 October, the rate would have been 37.48, and if let's say it's settled on 30 Oct, then you will be paying the rate 37.21. And your post here in the forum would have been a different one I think.... hahaha.

Compare to the rate she settled and flat rate today, there is a 1 percent diff , quite a lot, if we just talk abt the rate matter

It's normal. The status will change to settled within a couple days.

For more detail on the status, you can read it here: https://www.bigpayme.com/blog/why-do-payments-sometimes-fail
Hey, I need to follow up on how you engage Time on this issue. I called Time CS & they can't seem to locate the additional RM1 transaction & asked me to send them the screenshot which unfortunately, BP on Android can't capture any. sad.gif

BigPayJonathan you guys seriously need to reconsider enabling screenshot on Android unless there's a way for us to get a payment receipt or statement to allow us to dispute with vendors.

There is security concern printscreen with android

Czech don't use Euro. CC, including of course BP, are widely accepted and only in rare occasion they wanted cash which you can withdraw from ATM.

Just makes VERY VERY SURE the ATM you use belong to a proper bank, not some money changer's ATM. They all have unfamiliar names. If in doubt, Google to confirm.

Big tourist frequent visit store or restaurant do accept euro but with bad rate

AirAsia CEO says its mobile payment app will give Alipay, GrabPay 'a run for their money'

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/11/06/airasia-ceo...heir-money.html

- AirAsia's new mobile payment app called BigPay can give established players in the region a run for their money, according to CEO Tony Fernandes.
- BigPay is a part of AirAsia's strategy to develop new businesses that can generate additional income for the airline as it weathers through market headwinds.
- Some of the other projects include the development of an e-logistics platform called RedCargo, Fernandes said.

Hi @BigPayJonathan, what’s the protocol for us user to reject a transaction that has been swipe due to we not acknowledge on the swipe currency.

I didn’t see any 24 hour customer service available but just email, and email response is extremely slow that take few days to rely my enquiry.

As you said bigPay is playing role as bank, but I don’t see any service provide as per bank
*
With others bank you also can’t reverse lo....u are the one swipe/ sign/ pin the card, you need to make sure before you do the transaction

its possible to charge back if the product or service not delivered as agreed. black and white needed as proof.
