I'm a landlord but I don't like this idea. I got to pay to withdraw the rental money.  ranting.gif  rclxs0.gif

Most of the landlord won’t buy this idea, some landlord got multiple properties, and some rental way beyond the transfer limit, not practical

so those 3 cards belong to u or not?
2nd one should be no issue unless u tell the USD wire back stuff...
3rd one also no issue unless u tell the shopee stuff...

No matter how, they need to return the money in your big pay back to you

think losing access to bigpay hurt him more than the "holding of balance" in the card

Are there actually any reports of there being issues from this kind of activity?

More than what we think from this thread, just people not report here

I use my BP purely for ATM cash withdrawal overseas until recently, and only stopped doing ATM withdrawal because now the withdrawal limit has been reduced (I think). So each time I withdraw overseas now, I would get charged RM 10 (or is it RM 15) for ATM withdrawal by BP, and an additional THB 220 per withdrawal by the local bank - so for a RM 10k amount and assuming a limit of RM 2,000 per withdrawal, I would be paying RM 50 + THB 1100 for a total of almost RM 200 in purely transaction charges. Obviously this makes ATM withdrawal totally not worth it - and I'm now using BP purely for international transfer.

No issues so far and I've been using BP since 2018.

Oversea withdrawal no issue, the issue come from using third party credit card to top up and purely/ most balance withdrawal from atm

Maybe there was a surge in credit card top up due to Covid-19 crisis and investors stop/cut funding.

Airasia is in bad shape....
Big pay will be lagging behind competitors, big pay can target foreign worker to tt money back to their home country , that’s it

They just want to slow down bleeding caused by credit card top up charge. LOL the easiest way is removal of CC top-up, back to Big Prepaid, no need to spend so much time to audit and upset the customers.
*
they whole company is bleeding, they don’t have the fundamental to get e banking license, they know by remove cc top up, the program will gone. In short, big pay is less attractive than competitor

guys no worries, the worst is you can’t use the card anymore, but BigPay must return the remaining balance in you card, irregardless your top up sources
