Do i need to call up to activate anything?
Any extra charges or hidden charges when i use BP oversea? *not withdrawing cash
Besides, any website shows BP currency rate ?

Anyone got issues getting OTP from PBB when topping up Bigpay?

How about daily limit ? Also depends on the machine ?

When I did addon for meal for my Airasia flight, after choosing BP as payment the meal was discounted by rm2 but after payment it was back to the original price. After reading the FAQ, I only realised it was not applicable to addons. So better to use other CCs like PBB VS for cb as addon doesnt charge processing fees.

I am going to Beijing too and I haven't change my money at money changer yet. Is there any additional fee charged by ICBC bank of China besides the RM10 withdrawal fee by BigPay? What about other banks? What about Mastercard acceptance at merchant in Beijing? Curious to know. I have also opened up a saving account linked with UnionPay at Public Bank and ask friend to send me CNY into my WeChatPay. WeChatPay seems to have limitation as our verification is using a Malaysian issued mastercard

oh, i thought once turn on roaming, the daily charge will come in. The maxis CS also insisted that.

What if u want to use a foreign SIM with voice/data plan in dual SIMs mode, u can't turn off the MOBILE DATA. I was told to turn off the data plan of Malaysian SIM only.

Which dual SIM will allow data on both? You have to choose which sim to use for internet

i have an issue with shopee using bigpay last week. The payment failed at payment gateway, but the transaction was recorded in bigpay, then next day become status become "settled" already.

Shopee denied receive money from Bigpay for that transaction and said it will be refunded to my account within 14 working days. Bigpay CS in the other end told me that merchant has claimed the money. So which one I should trust ?

I already filed a dispute to Bigpay and still waiting for the refund back to my Bigpay. Anyone encounter this kind of issue before ?

Same with mine, I have file dispute as well, however no news since last week.

Has there been any issue that BigPay missed some transactions or something and the money was not reflected back into the app, as in disappeared? You guys do recon with the excel export?

Even they are in operation hours, they wont return the card to you because they unable to verify your identity. Which mean they will just destroy the card.
Exception is there provided you speak fluent thai and “ persuade” the branch manager. They will request you to go and do a police report and get some sort of evidence regarding the ownership of the card from the issuer. Things can get real complicated here because of their inconsistent policy, been there done that.
To be frank if you come thai for vacation for a few days or a week it doesnt worth your time to do all that thing just to get back your card. Always bring some spare cash, credit card and BP to avoid any emergency. I for instant if the atm does eat my BP, i will just cancel the card and request a new one. Too much trouble just to get it back imo in thai haha.

i have a query, i have transacted a transaction thru shopee using my old BP card. Subsequent to that i was advice to change my card to Masterwave and i have already activated it.

Following on, the online transaction was cancel and will be refunded back, i have called shopee, the refund will be credited back to my old BP card. Would like to ask will the refund transaction be reflected to my current BP account? Or what should i do on?

The reload will be made to the card that was used to make the purchase. Merchants would not entertain crediting back to a different card. You need to wait once Shopee execute the refund and then contact BP to move the credit to your new card.

I'd advise you to monitor the refund progress both @ Shopee and BP.

Anyone using maybank2u and then add BigPay as non-maybank card and then use it to pay bills in maybank2u ???? Can work?

This will be terrible for people topping up cards for dependents (e.g. Children, spouses) who don't have credit cards.
