Actually I believe the ewallets will still carry on with their respective promos, even after the unified QR is implemented. Just that the unified QR can accept payments from all participating ewallets + banks and attribute it back to the respective ewallet issuers , then to the merchants. Definitely will involve a lot of backend settlement processing. So one may still install multiple ewallets just to enjoy the promotion, but payment point at unified QR is just easier since it can then accept payments from many channels.
