For those who travel to Thailand:
https://www.dontworryjusttravel.com/asiapac...0-baht-atm-fee/

How to withdraw money in Thailand and more than 20’000 Thai Baht per transaction?
Use these banks1

Citibank: Maximum withdrawal limit 50’000 THB

Krungsri Bank: Maximum withdrawal limit 30’000 THB

Thai Military Bank: Maximum withdrawal limit 30’000 THB

CIMB Bank: Maximum withdrawal limit 30’000 THB

Bangkok Bank: Maximum withdrawal limit 25’000 THB
*
Post #1 stated MBB Thai does not impose any ATM fee. I wonder if that still applicable.

Guys, if refund is about to be made on our previous card, before exchange to the new contactless one, is the transaction will be fine?

im about to receive airport tax refund from my MAS flight purchased last year but i just realized paid by my first BP card (a different card number)

Should i notify MAS to transfer back to my new card or BP will settle that and transfer it for? any experience on this? Thank you
*
refund cannot be made to card other than the original.
BigPay should be able to transfer it to your new card upon receipt.

*Credit card (Max RM10,000/mth, reset on 1st of the mth), Debit card and Bank Transfer can be used to reload in App. [AMEX not Top Up Source (yet)]

Is this means max 10k/month for each credit card top up?
*
No, that's the cap for total credit card top up, not 'each' card.

Is there's any minimum amount that are allowed to withdraw?
*
per ATM's capability.
I'm guessing RM10 could be the minimum, provided there are RM10 notes in the ATM.
But paying RM6 for RM10 withdrawal is crazy!

Advise is to go with the maximum withdrawal amount possible, so to minimize the % cost of withdrawal fee.

I been double charged my Shopee transaction using BP.

Contact Shopee CS and they request to give the CC/Bank statement as proof.

anyone having similar experience for providing the proof?

I attached the screenshot but get query as well.
*
I had faced the same problem 3 times in the past.
BP CS would send me a dispute form to fill up and send back. Usually took around 10-14 working days to get back your money.

Thanks for your info!
Unfortunately I do not have paywave enabled BP.
So i still need to use pin reload ezlink I guess?
*
for short trip in SG, actually any paywave card also can use to replace ezlink mah. Not necessary must be BigPay (although the exchange rate is good).

Just assess if the RM2.50 ezlink card deposit (if you don't intend to go again) + minimum SGD10 in-card requirement for ezlink, vs paying higher exchange rate with other card (for a small amount), which one is worthwhile. smile.gif

Guys, anyone get FOC for withdrawing?
Withdrew twice x RM4000 at puchong HLB last week, initially charged for RM4006, but now just showing RM4000 after in settled status.
*
QUOTE(roarus @ Jul 17 2019, 11:41 PM)
I recall getting 2 push notifications for my recent withdrawal at HLB: 1 for RM6, 1 for amount withdrawn. Balance amount reflected with the RM6 fee, just that looking back into history I don't see the RM6 transaction anymore
*
this seems to be the new way BP is showing ATM withdrawal - the fee is hidden after settled.
if you try to consolidate your account, you will notice some missing RM6's. It just won't show up in the history. That's all.

Where are the parking that accept cc?
*
QUOTE(sidefulnes @ Jul 23 2019, 10:02 AM)
So far I see the credit card payment feature it in KLCC's parking machine and the entrance machine.
So you can use cc at the machine to pay for the physical ticket or use the cc paywave at the entrance
*
Tried paywave (BigPay was rejected) in Bangsar Telawi Indoor parking (above ground still under constructions). 10% surcharge though.

Yup, after Settlement the line on RM6 has disappeared and credited back into the wallet balance.
*
try to do a account consolidation thru Excel, if you have not done so.
in my case, 2 withdrawal of RM6 also went missing after settled, but the balance is now short of RM12.00.

So, I assume Bigpay basically remove the RM6 from view, but money is deducted nevertheless.

at least merchant no need to put a bunch of QR codes in front of their cashier, but if its a 1 app to rule them all type would be a pretty cool thingy, as no need to install so many e wallet app.. hehe  daydreaming eh?  biggrin.gif
*
Actually I believe the ewallets will still carry on with their respective promos, even after the unified QR is implemented. Just that the unified QR can accept payments from all participating ewallets + banks and attribute it back to the respective ewallet issuers , then to the merchants. Definitely will involve a lot of backend settlement processing.

So one may still install multiple ewallets just to enjoy the promotion, but payment point at unified QR is just easier since it can then accept payments from many channels.

HI Im going to Japan soon and after travelling using big pay seem the exchange rate is better than Midvalley rate.

Im just wondering if i were to topup my bigpay can i withdraw cash in Japan and if yes what avenue. As i see in first thread mention it can be done. Is the rate more preferable than midvalley. Thank you
*
the rate is depending on the 'settlement' date. If it happens to go lower, then you get a lower rate and vice versa.
likewise the rate from money changer in 'mid valley'. there is no fixed rate everyday.
