QUOTE(stuffx @ Dec 20 2018, 12:29 AM) what is the advantage of doing this (credit card --> bigpay --> boost --> bank)? why not topup boost directly using credit card and directly withdraw to bank account? Because their main feature is not to help people withdraw money from credit cards. It's just a sweetener in my opinion. |

Maybe he's not using it. Dates are kinda recent, that's why fresh and newly minted (i.e. he only start using after it stabilizes). And both cards should have no limit no?
so if the Monday midnite topup problem happens again, can get him to top up together gether on Monday midnite. |

QUOTE(LalaluSan @ Dec 21 2018, 04:55 PM) I think postpaid credit card also same. You don't feel it because still got extra credit. As for bigpay problem, well, they fully comply with bank negara on the card application process. Probably no clear directives on the money transfer part, so no urgency to fix it. Or maybe tony hasn't been topping up much and ran into problems. beLIEve me, they will be shitting bricks when the big boss runs into such problem. |

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Dec 21 2018, 06:27 PM) Big boss will just ask PA to P2P transfer direct instead sendiri top up via credit card No la. In my world, whenever something involves the CEO, everyone extra careful. Very unsmurfy to make the big boss suffer humiliation. If tony is demonstrating it and it fails, heads might roll. Thus no issue |

QUOTE(fense @ Dec 21 2018, 06:33 PM) Is prepaid card consider credit card? Isn't it is ike debit? Aiyah. No wonder my friend ambank debit also failed la.So far, wecgat wallet only successful topup by public bank card. Try cimb n maybank debit, failed. Top up as now petron got promo for wechat wallet. Yes it's more like debit card rather than credit card. But in reality, if I tell people prepaid card, they think it's phone card. So I just say prepaid credit card. |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Dec 23 2018, 12:13 AM) these kinda e-commerce sites usually have the same business model. burn money to get volume, then slowly reducing the benefit to buyers and sellers. if you see through the fees and charges, many which are 'waived till further notice'. once they get the volume, don't be surprised if they start to charge. in the meantime, enjoy while you can. Ahhh yeah. That explains why the discount vouchers on 11street is no longer as attractive as they used to a few years ago. Hardly visit ecommerce sites nowadays unless I have some voucher from new credit card applications or when I have something to buy. 11-11 and 12-12 did not attract me.I thought even some banks impose a lot of limitations (like limited $x on each category and high spending) on the cash back credit cards. Only the big 2 and probably a few that I missed remained generous. QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Dec 23 2018, 12:17 AM) Some are just not thinking big enough. Earn a bit of referral but jeopardize the whole thing (i.e. when the bank finds out and want to exclude it, they can. Which bank wants to give cash back for withdrawing money from their cards? heh). So yes, enjoy while it lasts. |

QUOTE(TongCN @ Dec 24 2018, 01:16 AM) So I checked my PBE authorised charged and it shows 10x60 BigPay reload I think you should. Most to most, you lose $10 only. Better catch some sleeps if you're an early sleeper. However under my BigPay, it showing 9 times only (60.03 is missing) Should I wait till morning time only check? |

QUOTE(paogeh @ Dec 24 2018, 01:53 AM) why this round ......take such long time ? check your online banking see how much is charged loh. I think as long as you key in the OTP, then it's charged.I tried at 12.05 till 12.30am .... and trying now ....1.30am ...till 2.00am ..... I think i got > 10 PBB OTP .... but finally ....BP side only register x8 .... This round take long time because earlier the BP server is already unstable. Then everyone Spend More while do stress test on the server..... |

QUOTE(scriptkiddie44 @ Dec 24 2018, 03:11 AM) I tried around 20+ times. The authorized charge in my card still remain unchanged. I guess I have no luck with this last round of campaign If you get to submit the OTP, it should work. My Authorized Charges is correct, but topup still not reflected. Not going to do more topups since only 1 case that got reverted while others all went through in later stages.it takes a while before it shows up. Mine was <30 mins but definitely not immediate. Other transactions like Astro and DiGi are immediate. Was expecting the grand sendoff of Spend More Now campaign = cash back allocation finish at 1. But now it turns out to be everyone reloading 10-20 times. I think Public Bank will be pleased, no so for BP though This post has been edited by beLIEve: Dec 24 2018, 03:48 AM |

QUOTE(paogeh @ Dec 24 2018, 10:37 AM) what I mean is, if don't fix, more money will flow in.I think difficult to justify. Probably by now BP already know it's only a sudden spike in load. Once the campaign is over, load will return to normal. When there's a genuine overload, they'll probably increase the capacity. Just my thoughts. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 24 2018, 11:24 PM) I just realised that Top-Up of BigPay does not need the correct CVV code to be entered. I think penguin reported this before and BP points back to the bank. And I think with OTP, CVV is used less now. If I don't have a memory leak, I've experimented keying in wrong CVV in other sites with credit card and it went through also. so it's nothing to do with BP.Is this a bug or feature ? Last week, I was overseas without the actual credit card and I entered a wrong CVV code but I've receive and entered the right OTP. |
