Today, I went there and withdraw from the same CRM, but it showed exceed dispense limit error. So I tried to withdraw from the CRM on the left instead, and managed to withdraw 4k successfully.

Timing is important i guess sweat.gif

Hi bro, which bank you use to withdraw in Manila? because i try to withdraw from BDO, but at the screen it says it will charge 250 pesos for withdrawal fees.
so the charges in total would be 250 pesos + MYR10. what is the maximum limit that you can withdraw from the ATM? i try to minimize the charges by withdraw to the maximum at one time.
*
He did mentioned ATM under BDO that have no extra fee in later post replying my query but did not mentioned the exact location.

I'm just done with my trip to Europe. Specificially Swiss, Italy, Austria, Prague and Germany. Used BP there without much of a hitch. Cards are widely accepted and transportation tickets can be purchased via app using card.

One lesson in Prague. If see Euronet atm, stay far far away. Even though i used the bank exchange rate instead of DCC i still got hit with a 99 czk withdrawal fee (about rm18). Didnt realize this until too late and was in a rush. I withdraw from Deutsche Bank atm in Swiss and there was no charge. Be careful with Euronet atm as the default option for amount withdrawal is ridiculously large... 20000 czk anyone? Thats like rm3500 in one go.

Also, if paying at shop using card, ask the cashier to insert card and use chip & pin. They like to tap and wave, but if amt is larger than rm250, transaction will auto decline. Got one cashier used the paywave 3 times until my card kena barred. Had to contact CS to unbar. I kept telling him to slot in but he wouldnt listen. Typical italian fler...

Thanks for sharing your experience and advice at Europe.

I've been awhile never update the list of cards that not eligible for CB as there were less member reported. It was listed because at very beginning BP is still new and members were at trial and reporting regularly. Anyway, will consider to remove away from post #01.

As for the points card/miles card/alike.. May be need more member to share, remember there were few posts shared on the miles collection by topping up BP. If any member who focus on miles/points/alike card, don't mind share the list and details, would happy to add to post #01 from now on.

QUOTE(stockerzzz @ Apr 26 2019, 01:46 PM)
I can confirm that there is extra fees when withdraw from BDO bank in Phillippines.
Today i just withdraw from BDO ATM in Makati. the maximum BDO ATM withdrawal limit is 10,000 pesos with fees of 250 pesos using bigpay card.
the rate is better in big pay compared with maybank forex rate.
bigpay 100 pesos = 7.904
maybank 100 pesos = 8.15
but maybank do not have any withdrawal fees if using maybank atm card for withdraw. Bigpay have 250 pesos + RM10 atm withdrawal fee .
So, if included the fees, withdraw from bigpay will cost a little more than withdraw from maybank phillipines.
maybe next time i should try using bigpay card and withdraw from maybank phillipines.
*
QUOTE(stockerzzz @ Apr 26 2019, 08:27 PM)
you can to maybank forex rate link:

https://www.maybank2u.com.my/maybank2u/mala...orex_rates.page

and check on the Selling TT/OD column. normally , this is the rate to be used when withdraw overseas using maybank.

and also i have check with bigpay in Maybank Phillipines ATM, it will also prompt up a notification saying cards that is issued overseas will be charged with 250 pesos.
So please admin put bigpay overseas withdrawal for Phillipines under "Overseas ATM that charged fee". it is not zero fee.
*
QUOTE(loselegend @ Apr 27 2019, 01:49 PM)
That 250 PHP is actually the RM10 fee.
I did not test the maximum limit as I just want to withdraw the amount I plan to withdraw.
*
I believe loselegend clarified the 250 pesos actually the RM10 BP charges, so there is no extra fees of withdrawal.

Anyway, stokerzzz, don't mind show us some screen shot if your withdrawal really kena charged extra fees. As we might not sure may be different ATM although both reported under BDO having different setting of charges.

And, thanks for sharing info that BDO max withdraw is 10000 pesos, kinda little as it equivalent to RM800.

After post update : seems like 250 pesos = RM20 instead..izit really an extra charge.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Apr 28 2019, 11:25 AM)
I assumed you are a Singaporean/work in Singapore.

Not worth as you will be converting SGD to RM at bank rate which is expensive.

Your choice if you want something like BigPay is
1) YouTrip (SG version of BP)
2) Be own money changer. Open Interactive broker account or their white labels (if you don't want to be hit with USD10/month  charges), open DBS multiplier account with their visa debit card  deposit SGD into interactive broker, convert via interactive broker at spot rate and withdraw to your DBS multiplier in the foreign currency you want, spend with your DBS Visa debit card. As long as you have foreign currency in DBS multiplier account, their visa debit card will always minus from that currency first then only deduct frim SGD. Eg. You have USD1000 inside, and you are spending USD100,  USD100 will be deducted from your USD1000
3/ Wait for BP to expand to SG.
*
Bro Ramjade, thanks for sharing the alternative way of using DBS multiplier account, dunno that multiplier account having foreign currency wallet embedded.

Can you check back your statement? The 250php will be added to your withdrawal amount. There will be another item for atm withdrawal amount which is myr 10.

hi cshaw, suggest you edit your post before Mod come and take action, as i received several reports on your post. nod.gif

as for your PayPal guide, i excerpt the below to help forumers :

How do you link BigPay to PayPal
PayPal is one of the most widely accepted payment options out there so if you're able to link BigPay to PayPal, you are expanding what BigPay can do. This is particularly useful when you want to make a payment via BigPay but it gets denied because the merchant doesn't accept a prepaid credit card.

So what you can do instead is log into your PayPal account, go to your wallet and click on link a debit or credit card. From there, just enter in your BigPay information and you're set to go!

I don't see there is any option for this. May be can request via chat. Let us know if u changed the setting successfully.

Otherwise, you may just consider to use the freeze/unfreeze feature if it's a safety intention to reduce the pay wave amount limit.
