Found debit card exchange rate still the lowest.
Want to use Bigpay on British Airways to buy some food and drink (BA same like AirAsia...) but unable to because they don't accept prepaid card...
Use Maybank Debit Card went through.
Today found settlement date on 26 Dec 2018 with GBP1 = RM5.315 while BP with same settlement date with RM5.331...

I faced this problem with SCB before.
I received the OTP but i didn't key in the OTP due to lost connection but after that they still send me the successful transaction but no top up in BP.
I called their CS and scolded them how come the transaction can go through without OTP and yet the merchant didn't receive the fund???
After that they agree to credit back the money while doing investigation with the merchant which in this case is BP.

I wonder who started all these cash advance crap, totally blocking the view for other important information to share in this forum... As long as you got OTP for it, it is not cash advance, please stop this crap...

Please stop all the nonsense about the MCC, always refer to your bank PDS or TnC, inside got mention how they threat the "Cash Advance". For eg. Maybank FCBVS - https://www.maybank2u.com.my/iwov-resources...gnature_TNC.pdf

8. Fees and Charges
8.1 The Cardmember agrees to pay and authorises Maybank to debit his/her Credit

if you saw the page something like phone layout with cancel on the bottom left, these are cybersource gateway.
try wait for ipay88 gateway page, you should see the agree tnc with ipay88 something like that during payment before otp page.

i already report to shopee to stop using cybersource gateway and hopefully all of you join the boat to report to their customer care, hopefully they can remove cybersource gateway and only work on ipay88 gateway...

yours is showing payment page as attached or not.
if not, it should mention something about ipay88 and ipay88 definitely work with BP.
mine still showing cybersource which is still declining the transaction...

28, i usually top up after that so that i can get the CB on the next month b4 statement out.
this month would be a challenge but hopefully top up on 28 feb still consider as this month rather than posting date on march...

BigPayJonathan i got one suggestion for early batch users without paywave who wants to get the paywave card replacement. why not given every user with max 2 mobile numbers to register with same IC number to create two different Bigpay acc? This will be easy process rather than waiting for the replacement card and unable to use the existing card. When you create two accounts with same IC, the credit limit will become RM5k max for credit card top up. Hope this procedure can be ease up for all the users rather than PM you personally because still got plenty of old users who don't know about low yat forum.

mine also facing same issue with wrong CVV initially, then delete it and add again in top up sources but same issue.
then after that i straight away top up and select new card and enter the same information and succeed.
the card also added in after reload.

just top up and transfer through apps although max RM2k per day, that's how i done with my wife acc and mine

try remove and top up directly without adding into the top up sources, select a new card and enter the details to top up

are you getting the wrong CVV kinda stuff?
try delete the saved card and top up again without adding into top up sources.
this work for my QMC after facing the same issue.

just direct top up with new card and it will automatically save the card into top up sources without going through the RM4 process

just try somewhere nearby, for eg i can withdraw RM3k 3 times at Caltex with Maybank ATM nearby my house
