QUOTE(msa9696 @ Sep 27 2018, 09:17 PM) Anyone has ever considered that the downside of using BP is that you don't get some of the protection from credit cards, such as travel insurance or travel related stuff, purchase protection, extended purchase warranty, etc. Yup. I bought my overseas ticket via premier card as the insurance coverage is high. If local ticket. All use BP as the insurance not really useful. My card was fraudlently used about 30k while traveling, and the bank compensated all. Also, if not mistaken there are some BNM regulation that bank has to cover a certain amount due to fraud etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm still using BP and it's still a very good card, but I just wonder if there's any kind of protection, say if kena 10k fraud, how? Will BP ever compensate? Therefore sometimes, certain transactions I feel it's still better to use Amex, which has excellent cashback/reward and protection I remember the insurance for luggage delay only can be applied on out bound flight n not inbound flight when want to claim that time. |

QUOTE(peri peri @ Sep 28 2018, 08:59 AM) agree, some people dont know how to appreciate good thing. same like the free entry PPL, abused like no tomorrow, now most banks retract back the features. Besides PPL lower their F&B standard to accommodate the crazy crowds in order to control their cost. I saw one aunty at PPL counter, taking out a name card holder booklet, inside like got 40 or 50 cards, telling the reception try this one try that one, why? because she bringing 7 quests along. WTH. Dont blame the people who use the card as abuse. It is the bank partly own fault by not properly selecting their own customer. Maybank for instance. I remember they have a higher standard of 180k (i vaguely remember this) income n now lower to 120k. Then with people putting some FD. They dish out the premier card to the masses who meet the qualification. If every card holders is an "elite". Will u think the "elite" card holders will do all this kind of things which attribute to abuse? If yes, the numbers would be minimal. Bank wants good customers n also wants profits n also wants to compete with their competitors n keep lowering their own standards n now the users who use the card follow the rules are label "abusers". Something not right here. With the attraction of the PPL. Many other banks starts following suit. Even mid range card also granted few free entries. It made the seemingly high class lounge become a pasar raya lounge. There are many customers who paid to enter n are they paying a premium for entering a now lower class lounge? B4 that maybank got Priority Pass n now no more. If any member wants it, can apply but got fees la. A good "elite" customer wont mind to subscribe the card by paying annual fees. See if anyone will abuse it when they got to pay? This post has been edited by Tigerr: Sep 28 2018, 09:59 AM |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Sep 28 2018, 09:59 AM) Ha..there are....but the numbers could be minimal to be seen in the PPL if bank raise their standard to those who really meet qualification. Put an income barrier for those earning 300k n u will see the reduction or elimination of the abusers.....but at the same time, reduce their own custimer base. |

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Oct 3 2018, 05:04 PM) But if within the same industry, all others car company provide the free upgrade or install airbag to the car that come with no airbag previously. Will your company consider to upgrade or install the airbag to the existing car? Can be yes or no. But look at your sales. I believe your company will install the airbag later on. It is totally come from the business point of view. Some bank give annual fee waiver. Some dont, like Maybank premier cards. Anyone complain why maybank premier card no annual fees waiver? While others like uob can waive and some bank like Hong leong premier card got free annual fees. Every company has their own rules.....we like it, we follow. If not, your choice....I hope that you won’t change the wave card until the card expires or until it no longer can be used. Btw, I am ok to this condition and I have successfully invited 2 of my friend today. Hopefully they receive the card soon. But, that is my comment on it. Hope BigPay can care about us. Honestly, there is a cost for the new card like product cost and delivery cost. Maybe they can have special rate for those who not willing to join the referral programs and can replace it with special card replacement rate like RM5 or 10? |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Oct 4 2018, 11:29 AM) Bigpay card is just a small part of a big game. QR, ICO, fund-raising, IPO will come later. They are creating and improving "values" using AirAsia's database. Please flood me with lots of advertisement so long as withdrawal limit & fees remains the same.Bigpay is burning money, once they reach a milestone, they will remove the monthly fee, charge for CC top-up, increase withdrawal fee etc and your BP app will be flooded with advertisements. |

QUOTE(boonhan @ Oct 24 2018, 03:15 PM) You are lucky. If u dont know your friend name n still want to proceed. Good luck to u. At least call your friend to verify b4 transfer la....Last time i mistake transferred, bigpay cannot help. They ask me call the person to ask it back. Which of course the first thing i did after notice the problem. Then about 2 or 3 days later, bigpay replied me that nothing they can do. Transferring via phone number is a problem. My friend nickname not displayed in the app, only their full name which i dont know. Same thing will happen with duitnow, if someone get my old number, if transferring without knowing the name. Good luck to that guy. |

QUOTE(BigPayJonathan @ Oct 24 2018, 06:11 PM) I honestly don't know how Boost works since I've used like 10 minutes in total... But how does it work exactly? Do you have to select the contact of the person you want to send money to, then key in the amount and press a confirmation button with a reminder of the person's name? My suggestion is to know competitor products better is to personally use their product. Tap their strength or good features to improve own products weakness. |
