QUOTE(saboteurs @ Aug 28 2018, 09:49 AM) for now i'd suggest don't use this card for online transactions lo.. sometime physical swipe transactions also may cause intermittent stability issue You can always top up more than 10k via online account transfer. so just use this card to purchase air asia ticket lo or use it at overseas for better conversion rate but 10k limit is a big turn off but no worries u can use online banking to transfer and use it at overseas thats what i did... never failed for me during my overseas trip If die die wants to use credit card as top up, then apply few more cards using your parents, siblings, in laws, friends n bring all the card overseas...afterall, it is your money which is topping up from your cards. |

QUOTE(fairylord @ Aug 28 2018, 05:42 PM) Thanks for the update, unsure whether your failed transaction is due to old terminal or recent frequent failure s reported. For the moment will not update first post on the list of not applicable merchant as the culprit is not justifiable. To update the list in current situation might be meaningless and serve no purple. The objective is originally for BP could have a list to check and interact with those merchant to make them accept. Singapore MBB got one card that give u 3.33%. Thats good to use it to load up to Youtrip card like how people load the BP card.3.33% CR is for YoutTrip or BP? |

QUOTE(Sumofwhich @ Aug 28 2018, 11:53 PM) Sigh, can try calling BigPay to waive off the atm withdrawal fee? Imagine having to fork out 2x money for your intended purchase because it is stuck in BigPay I wondering why would anyone wants to transfer big amount of money into BP to make payment online unless he is to enjoy the better exchange rate, earn Big points or maximize their cb. Else i dont see a need to take this step to pay using BP unless one doesnt has credit card where one's fund are from their saving account. |

QUOTE(touristking @ Aug 29 2018, 10:01 AM) tracking of spending purposes. Instead of BP keeping track for some. Some may need to keep track for BP for all those failed transaction as well. For example. I transfer RM 1000 from a credit card. One off. Then for numerous minor spending, BP keep track of spending for me. No paperwork. This post has been edited by Tigerr: Aug 29 2018, 10:18 AM |

QUOTE(peri peri @ Sep 7 2018, 10:16 AM) OIC, coz my Amex got other recurring to take care the CB, if near month end still got quota, BP will come in handy to fullfill the remain Amex CB quota. Its still doesnt defeat the purpose to enjoy the CB using BP. Of course. But u may missed to max out the best cb that is available if not careful. MBB visa signature can let u swipe up to maximum 1760 for the 88 cb only on petrol & grocery. So unless u every month can max this out, then, u can freely use the BP but BP also got its limitation to max 10k only. Last month. I already max out most of my card n end up using my UOB one card for that meagre 0.2% cb. I should be using MUVI but that day not MU matchday plus i need to top up my MBB account because i also max out the credit limit due to the generous BT. So in this case, u still need to think n select wisely what are the best card to swipe at tge counter....If you get what im mean |

QUOTE(Morning_Star @ Sep 7 2018, 09:18 PM) Although advertised 5% CB of 88 from 1760 spend, MBB VS requires annual 30k spend to waive 550 AF. Actually it is slightly higher than 3.52% because other spending carries TP but not much worth it la. Enjoy the 5% cb n then decide on what to do when nearing aniversary time because new cards with better cb may have come out in the market.so 30k/12=2500 spend per mth. If want to avoid AF, effective CB is only 3.52% on 88 CB when spend 2500 monthly. which I think is no problem for your power spending pattern. Can use BP for the remainder. Only thing good is Maybank doesn't restrict groceries shopping places unlike Wise & Amanah. & no weekend CB restrictions. |

Just now did a purchase of Airasia ticket. One way from Thailand into Malaysia. I click the page to transaction in RM. After finalized n paid using BP (smooth, one time gaotim), the i click n see the payment breakdown. It actually charged using Thai baht but converted into RM.
Question. In this case, shall i click the transaction to be in THB n pay using BP n let BP convert the currency or let AirAsia do the conversion? Which is better? |

QUOTE(CloudComputer @ Sep 12 2018, 11:54 AM) Well if we want to replace our normal card transaction with BigPay, I guess we expect same or similar level of reliability during payment. When use in overseas....definately need back up if the place is untested. My friend going to Poland. I asked him to use Bigpay instead of changing money the other day. He asked me if tgay place cannot use bigpay or credit card how? Still need to back up with cash. It's very frustrating and discouraging, if the payment failing once in a while unexpectedly.... |
