so insane why SC don't allow to change gear oil ? even pay by own ?

Brought this up to SC in my last visit..

Me: so what if gearbox GG after 100k km?
SC: then change gearbox lol.
Me: how much is a gearbox?
SC: probably 20-25k++?
Me: so why should I not change the ATF oil within this 100k km?
SC: because Mazda said ATF oil is lifetime.
Me: lifetime of the gearbox or lifetime of the car?
SC: *blur and sohai face*
Me: so either you change the ATF oil for me or I change myself
SC: if you change yourself, warranty void
Me: if I don't change and gearbox gg, are you going to cover a new gearbox for me?
SC: no...?

Thanks! Will probably go there for a look see. Spoken to some Mazda SAs in the past, found a number of them very cocky. Probably because their sales figures are very good.

Have seen people reporting that the CX5 gearbox starts to give up after the warranty period due to the no oil change policy. How's your CX5 gearbox holding up?

I am, but can't really help you coz i just owned the car nearly 3 month.

From fb group people usually complain burn engine oil, blown head gasket (usually happened on 2.2D, but saw some owner also complain about 2.5T)

fuel consumption at high side (i not really care it), brake not so good (even 2.0 also have same problem)

pros: a really powerful engine for this size of SUV, very low turbo lag, AWD system works superb, cornering quite precise. Overall driving experience is nice, no regret choosing Mazda again (previously owned a Mazda 3 BM/BN)

My new CX5 (deep crystal blue) has a visible scratch mark on the driver side door. I suspect it was by some motorcycle guy who tried to park between two cars while i have parked at a shopping lot area. (Saw a lot of motorcycles  parked between cars on that day).

I checked with Bermaz and they mentioned that they need to repaint the whole door which will cost me RM750. I was wondering if i should take it to a car painting specialist to get it fixed instead. But am worried if the paint patch work will have any difference from the original paint and may end up looking ugly. What should i do?

I place a booking on the last day of SST exemption. Thus, that's the only discount do I have. Heard some SA in Klang Valley do give you some discount of 500-1000 if you doesn't want their lousy Skytint (cost 2k). Save roughly 2.5-3k.
In my case, it is compulsory to have pay for it (2k) and I gonna replace it with Vkool since Mazda tint is sucks.

Ya lo..it's chicken and egg dilemma. Not enough sales to justify CKD so price expensive..price expensive so cannot get sales so cannot justify CKD..but Bermaz macam no cut the KIA's specs and features as much as it used to be right?
